My car drives a whole lot better with 75W transmission oil. No jerks. Yes the gear change is felt but the jerk isn't their after the oil change.

A joke for suzuki... There is flood in stream and near to danger point. Everyone is worried. Flood deptt satisfy people. Donot worry we have raised the danger mark by two feet. So. Dont worry the gear oil replacement interval increased to 30k mileage.
What about those early cars in which Suzuki poured SAE 90 from the factory? Should the follow the same schedule?

I went a few days ago for a second oil change at 10,000km and asked them to change gear oil as well but they said it will change at 30,000km as per revised notification.

Hi, please suggest that is there a significant difference between 0-20 and 10-40? Also Suzuki is saying that engine oil replacement should be after 10k intervals. Is it okay? Or i should change after 5k. Please answer both questions. Thanks
cultus probably comes with correct gear oil. Not sure about it. From february 2020, alto came with correct gear oil in vxl. The manual version still probably comes with sae90 poured from factory
lets just say that the engine in alto is designed around 0w20 so it performs best on that viscosity. 0w20 is fully synthetic andd can be dragged to 10k kms however the filter, fuel and polution in air are the limiting factors because of which it is advised to change oil at 5k, even if it is fully synthetic
