Bro as I am buying it for my Mrs. I want an automatic hence never headed for a manual. True there is lag, when floored the AC trips and comes back but still I loved the little darling. I drove it after parking my 2019 civic so obviously felt it a bit. But the pros are; airbags,ABS, good interior, VERY SPACIOUS, good brakes, a jolly decent suspension(we were 3 adults and 3 children and it did not graze its belly on the speed breaker) responsive steering, overall an above average AC (its 660cc remember), decent finishing. Price is very attractive (1295 for the package). Now I know there will be comments like 13 lac you can get this and that, but all I am saying is 0meter is 0meter. I have kept 4 0meter cars Allhumdulillah and I know the taste,smell and feeling of a 0meter car.

Today I take test drive of vxr n AGS, overall quality is very good, ac chilling in 40 deg n 2pm, really impressed with quality, not unlike mehran n wagon.r .. Ground clearance good, leg space good, I face a problem while driving vxr I feel car is underpower n too much engine sound. In AGS all is well, I can buy AGS any day.

My only concern is the AC performance. Looking at the feedback from the people who have taken the test drive!

I agree people of our country will buy unknown kachra i.e So called auction cars for even 1.5-1.7 million & that too 660 cc but for a zero meter they're hesitating out of which 13 lakh ,2.2 Lakh is tax
Same for other variants I really hope the price doesn't goes up otherwise it's value for money & for the first time for entry level car they've given us Airbags that's also A Big Improvement but people need to keep in mind this is a city car not made for longer routes.
In Shaa Allah I will also buy Alto vxl Ags

What's the waiting time for VXR and VXL on booking?

I have JDM tiptronic (Auto/Manual), Mine has Traction Control, Heated Seats, Back Mirror Wiper and many small and useful things that PKDM's highest variant (VXL) doesnt offer, despite such a high price.
btw I was expecting that the VXR 11 lac variant will come with ABS at least but they havnt even given ABS in VXR

The 'triptronic' is AGS, the same transmission offered in the local variant.

in 12 lac you can get a brand new Alto JDM with much much more features than the PKDM.

Brand-new? Kahan se imported one is not even close to a new car in reality...m referring to reliability and condition. New import policy is a lot different.

Not a good idea for Uber creeem. I have been in this business since 2 years. While i used city a lot ..wagonR is best...reason is 1000cc advantage against smaller engines in hot weather with ac.. lastly excellent mileage. 660cc is ok for small families..dont just compare with 1000cc Cultus or wagonR..they are much more practical

My views about alto VXL AGS 2019 after its test drive are as under.

Car was spacious for its class.
Felt under powered while driving it on straight road.
Ac was better than Mehran but not as good as Wagon R.
Price seems to be on a little higher side, but it does not matter as People are willing to buy Suzuki at whatever price it is launched.
VXL booking is not yet opened & dealers are not sure when it will be available for booking.
Lets wait & read owners reviews once the car is on road.
