Highly doubt if excise issues plates to owners timely even if they are already ready.

I see, had previous experience of plate availability matching with info on the mentioned portal.

They need to be fast in plates too. Their online tax payment option is good and it has home service of recipt delivery that is very convenient.

what will happen to the series being missed in between?

for example BLX doesnt has orignals BNX* has orignal phir again newer series dont have orignals.

or they would issue ajrak to 2022 and before 2022 stays yellow?

I think they are going towards universal system of black and white so the cameras can read them (just my opinion)

I am personally against the AJRAK design, It should be plain not symbolic. mentioning state is sufficient

I heard people having old plates can get new ones for a fee,

Me too against the design.

It should reflect the color Green And White, and the city or state by defined by Name of the city / state mentioned on it.

I have seen the news clip, which says the contract to be given to some Amred forces related company which would make the plates on behalf of sindh govt.

Lets hope JAALI number plates are not issued in the shadow of this.
