Only happens if you and the surveyor manage to approve parts not required to repair your car. And then return them for cash.

For example you approve a new bumper but repair the old one. And things like that.

it is still not possible or say extremely difficult as insurance company usually sends a loss controller for inspection after work done. in case of Adamjee, we prefer dealership work only as there are almost no chances of such malpractices.

Obviously, I remember when i claimed insurance i was required to submit old damaged parts to insurance warehouse.

But in cases where company price is 15000 and i manage to purchase a item for rs.10000

Such things are still doable.

Such malpractices are going on. My car is insured with Adamjee and dealership full choona laga rahe hai Insurance company ko. They are putting non genuine parts and billing the company for Genuine.

Happened with me personally so I know.

In 2000, when my car was accidented & sent to Suzuki Macca motors in Karachi (which is now Kia Macca)..Totally fraudulent and corrupt practicioner in that era

On last day i went there before time and they allowed me to see my car...I saw what they did, they reinspected whole car with genuine parts by Adamjee Insurance surveyor, got his signature and pictures. I also left that insurance part is done and they told me to come after 2 hours as it was lunch time so gate pass issues etc.

Later on after 2 hours, when i went there, i noticed that they replaced all my rear lights inclusive of number plate lights with non- genuine one and insisted me to receive it.

I refused to accept these parts and called Adamjee branch manager to tell truth but he did not agree on my claim that we have surveyed, parts are SGP so not possible...but on the other side, Macca motors Manager Mr. Tariq or some name like this heard my discussion on call, he got frightened that i am calling surveying agent to reinspect once again....When i cut call, he told me....No worries if you are not satisfied, i will change your parts...Same guy who was not accepting my claim just few minutes ago and literally he changed all my parts then i signed on satisfactory note & received my car (Although even my branch was not accepting my complaint about Macca motors).

Dealerships are also habitual of swapping parts between cars like brake pads, plugs, Air filters, etc.
So anyone who thinks he can walk for repairs into an authorized dealership and will be treated with honesty doesnt know how this country works.

Our auto industry is a vicious circle unfortunately. The day you book your car or buy by paying hefty own, you are welcome to a world of hypocrisy, malpractices and choona. Whether it's the insurance guys, dealer, manufacturer, mechanic or spare parts shop.

Does anyone know the most efficient way of removing rubber marks from paint because these beghairat bike walay.. . Ive managed to remove the most of it but cannot remove it completely. Plus today some random car rear ended me in traffic and left a black dot. Should i fill it with a correction pen?

@musabmansor2003 how come a bike wala is "beghairat" while a car wala is just a random guy who rear ended your car.

Use any cleaner wax after washing, it should remove the light marks. If that doesn't work, try using some medium cut polish

So a little update regarding this accident and it's repair, the insurance claim was pretty easy, the concerned conveyor called us and asked us for the repair shop or dealership, we opted for Suzuki Islamabad motors in i-9. It's been a week and they've stated working on car today, as per their statement following damage was done :
- headlight clips broken and they're replacing the whole headlight
- Fender replaced, they were just fitting it and they'll get it removed later and will be sent for paint job
-the left headlight mount was bent but they didn't change it but they are repairing it, may be its welded so that's why it's difficult to replace.
-there was a hole in the floor of the car that occurred because the car stopped at the edge of the gutter so they've welded it or something, didn't see it myself, will check tomorrow.
- last but not the least one of the engine foundation was bent which is causing the engine to vibrate, the representative at the dealership told me that this mount is out of stock and he is trying to arrange it somehow, I asked him if he could get it arranged from a local vendor upon which he replied that the local one would be of cheap quality and isn't worth it, I was impressed by his statement and felt like they are genuinely worried about the quality. Let's hope for the best. They told me if everything goes well, they'll handover the car tomorrow. Will keep updating. Can anyone tell me more regarding engine foundation please? Is it considered in the body of the car or not?

I have reduced clutch hardness by adjusting the nut at the end of clutch cable and brought clutch pedal freeplay within oem recommended 15-20mm. Now gear shifting has become noticably smooth. But clutch is still producing noise while pressing. Slight disadvantage is that clutch thora oper a kar lagta ha..

Just because they even failed to acknowledge what they did. Happened to me twice while i was completely stopped at a signal.. He completely scratched the front bumper , looked at me in the eyes like it wasnt his fault and ran away. While the gaari wale uncle came out , apologised and comforted me and even offered to pay for the damages while it is just a small dot. I know i shouldnt have called every bike wala a beghairat i apologise but if you live in karachi youll get my point

Ok thanks , it did work but the mark is slightly less significant now. Also filled the black dots with correction fluid. Looks good.
