This is not normal. Kisi gari mai nahee hota, this is shitty brake pads being used by PS.
In old cars where OEM shoes are not used, service ker wa k handbrake mai khari kero and next day, the brakes gets jammed.

same goes for this suzuki alto. i had kepts a mehran brand new from 2016 -2022, it never happended but yes it is happening with the new alto.

Rust on rotors do appear on all vehicles, whether's Mercedes or a Suzuki. This is normal. So when you apply brakes you will hear some sounds until the rust is gone.

The jamming of hand brake after wash is specific to Suzuki. For me, it used to happen with Wagon R as well.
So we can consider this normal for Suzuki vehicles.

handbrake gets stuck if local brake shoes r used which swells up upon contact with moisture, happens with toyota aswell

It was rust and moisture according to Pak Suzuki and they said it is absolutely fine and i shouldnt be worried 🤷‍♂️

This is very normal.

If you leave your car parked for 10/15 days. And specially it rains. Brake pads and disc's get stuck with rust. It gets ok with a little movement.

Maybe doesn't happens in cars with rear drum brakes.

But happens always with disc's.

It doesn't jams. But moisture expands brake pads they become sticky.

Even after a car wash, if you don't drive your car you will notice rust on roters.

It's goes away after some driving.

Hi, one in my circle visit suzuki dealership for second inspection at 8k km (Car alto 2021) , they change the oil and still put the wrong oil 10w 40 according to the 2019 manual? are the still not pouring the correct oil, why?

Salam Alto users. Need some guidance. I am in the consideration for PKDM Alto VX. Upon research on PS website, I came to the conclusion that only a couple of features are missing in the VX (vs. VXR), which are as follows:

1. Dual airbags
2. Front seat belt force-limiters
3. Air conditioner
4. Audio 1-din vs. 2-din
5. Speakers none vs. 2 in VXR

The car I am going to replace Alto VX with is Suzuki Cultus VXR and was thinking to buy Alto VX and get the selected missing features (vs. VXR) installed from PS or aftermarket. VX - 17lac & VXR - 19.7lac

Let me know your opinion on this. My POV is to get VX, save almost 270k by not buying VXR and do the below action steps. My comments are below:

1. Dual airbags - they are important but current Cultus VXR does not have them and since the car will be used for only occasional grocery as a 3rd car within city, can skip this.

2. Front seat belt force-limiters - important and willing to pay PS for upgrade or get used kit from shersha/bilal gunj

3. Air conditioner - important and willing to pay PS for a kit or get a new one aftermarket

4. Audio 1-din vs. 2-din - not important since basic audio is fine

5. Speakers none vs. 2 in VXR - being an audiophile this is a non-issue and I have plenty of spare speakers at home.

The aftermarket AC is No-No. Nothing beats factory fitted AC as ECU is properly tuned to run that.

If you install aftermarket AC even from suzuki they are gonna temper original wiring of car and will never reprogram ECU for AC.

You will face problems later.

using Alto vx since 9 months with after market ac installed. extremely good experience. but masla ye hai k alto book ho he nahi rahi since so long and vx tou koi karta he nahi book

one of my firend did uses these sheets for reducing vibrations when new speakers installed. he didint took out the plastic instead pasted the sheet on it. before installation the whole door and its plastic card was vibrating badly, but after install its bass has improved, no vibrations and the door closing is like a heavy door.

the sheets were bought from Soda water wala at MA Jinnah road saddar. the complete sheet costed 5500/- for all four doors we bought in mar 2022.

These are not iridium. These r shitty OEM plugs given by Pak Suzuki.
