Now there is a new scam of islamic banking as well. The matters of faith are personal choices and Islamic banking can theoretically justify its banking policies . The truth is that all money is tied up in banks and stock market. its all interest based or pure gambling.

All banks have been given a federal order to convert to Islamic banks. The word scam here means that the use of islamic banks exploits the end user (it's not new btw, it's just that all banks are now converting to Islamic in Pakistan), if you get a loan you pay more than the prevalent conventional bank. Making more profit in the name of Islam is scamming people. In islam there is a concept of qarz e hasana. No bank will ever do that because that's not how business is done. Moreover it is my view that one has to completely stop using the banking sector to get away from sood. All money is connected and sood ka paisa is eventually mixed into islamic bank money stream. Any ways. I will not go into details. Mark up game of islamic banks trumps conventional banks any day. Baki sab samajhdar hain and everyone has their choice and opinions.
As buying through banks either islamic or conventional, increases inflation that also justifies the point I am making. Everything sood based has an islamic name in Islamic banking and that's how it justifies as Islamic banking practice. Oh and fatwa system is also debatable. To me it all feels like just finding a way to shift responsibility from one's shoulder to islamic scholars and banks.
