Also try and observe the thickness of window glass in Alto. I was surprised as its almost half the thickness in other passenger cars. Mainly the engine noise is transferred through front glass and firewall. Its very hard to cover these up. I am afraid The Alto is just a loud car.
I personally have installed a good sound system on which i listen to my favourite music and the sound gets muffled a bit. Still not 100% satisfied.

I do not have a dark colored Alto but i have installed 3M crystalline series tints on my car 5% which are not really visible. They make my car AC feel so much more better. Try that and you will thank me later. Car doesn't heat up as much to begin with,even when standing in direct sunlight.

hopefully you wont sweat but just in case get the 3M crystalline tints. I love them and although it costed me 35k i am happy with the decision. The sun doesnt slap me anymore and no excessive tanning

it's the glass man its the glass. Super thin glass is used for weight savings.

being a budget car and being used according to purpose, i choose the option of getting windows curtains to control the heat a bit and i think it serves the purpose.

Yes I have them too with tints so it's quite chill in the car. To be honest Altos AC doesn't blow as cold as a corolla or other bigger cars but i have placed deterrents which work very well. Yes its an economy car but its also worth 30 lack for AGS version. I also changed my tired to continentals as a one time investment so i can enjoy the car properly. In pst i have used stock tires and no comfort mods and at the end i regretted it.

right now today in karachi .. i was driving to my office and went for lunch just got back

and today temp is 37% and Humidity: 41% too much hot. and i noticed alto ac is not working like it should.. its like little breeze in the air ..

not optimal not good not great ..

my alto is model 2023 Jan 10

then i went showroom might be prob after checking
my dealer says " bahi itni garmi main alto AC aise he chalta hy "

i am talking about now a days and specially today in night in moderate weather it works good..

if anyone gets a solution, I need one too, last night i drove my brothers Vitz, It has a chill effect, Which my Cultus definetly misses.

There is almost no insulation between roof and cabin (Alto), Add some and see the difference.

Few days back at night i turned the ac on And i saw on condensation not only on windows and Windscreen, BUT on ROOOOF, In around 20 mins.

i would again suggest u to visit the dealership, PSMCL quality control isn't perfect as well, one needs to be assertive to make the point heard and understood.

The issue lies within the insulation of Alto. I have noticed that the air conditioning at night is so much better with the same amount of fan throw that you cannot even sit in the car for long (Fan at 3). During day if you keep your hand close to your vents you will feel similar results but the car itself remains quite warm. Alto's AC is really nice itself, its just the thin windows and terrible insulation.

i agree the insulation is sh** I have already spent 1- 1.5 lack on my alto to make it better but not anymore. I have almost white seat covers (japani leather, that doesn't heat up. 3M crystalline tints 5% that provide over 95% uv protection and limit heat transfer. At this point it's liveable. My car went to workshop for a few days bumpers getting repainted and then i felt like i missed the little sh**. Only after two days i am enjoying it more than ever. Maybe its the price that makes us expect so much from the lil dinky.

every one discussing here, i dont want to be part of lengthy discussion but i may share my point of view, there is no comparison of zero meter car with other, but the one who is not satisfied with alto and want to stick with PKDM, then hen can buy 5 year old cultus vxl of around 30lack with less then 40 thousand driven.

i have more of an issue with the vent placement on the alto.

directly on my hands. i mostly drive alone. my hands start freezing. i have to redirect the vents
