Haha true. If one points it to oneself the wiper stalk or steering gets in the way. I found that lowering the vents fully then pointing towards oneself works best. Also I have an android lcd installed which is a little protruded. This makes it hard to point the passenger side vent towards me as the screen cuts off the flow. This is all to be expected with such a small horizontal space. That being said, I love the the lil thing. Impressed with its pick up and go on demand.
In the past one of the big things was that small cars had no go but this one has plenty of beans. Rest is its size and weight and physics that comes with it.

As i said, the cooling is perfect but the heat insulation is poor. even the diggi area feels hot. you dont feel the heat of ac but yes the back gets wet with paseena.

i havent tint the car but i guess it will help a lot.

there is no question about insulation because there is no such thing present in this car.

the first thing which made me notice is that after placing my fone on dashboard, the fone gave me overheat warning within 10 min, i never knew that fone had such feature as well.

the big resonator is different if i compare it with a JDM, its almost of the size which used to come on eagle eye civic back in days.

i personally believe the gargling loud sound from engine bay is being produced by this thing.

besides, i compared the engine room insulation with a JDM, cudnt find anything missing there, like there is no insulation on the underside of hood in JDM as well or any other part, its the sound of detuned engine or that resonator, some say the gear box produces this noise, but i dont think its coming from TXN

so, we can compare the resonator of a vxr vs vxl. if both are same then its definateley the gear box.

has anyone thought of re-tunning the car from 39 hp to the original 57 or shayed 59 hp.

resonators are same in both variants, VXR and VXL

and gear boxes shud also be same, as the AGS is effectively a manual gear box with addition of AGS which replaces the clutch and shifts gears with help of solenoids

I did everything .Today 12-05-2013 after jumma . i went to dealer khalil motoz. sabzi mandi.. i enforced them to check it and did a v.long conversation about the ADC they checked the complete car .. they said is ac is fine. and they gave me another car for testing.. it has same prob or i mean same results.

AC is not optimal when car is standing on signal or anywhere stuck in traffic.

and today in karachi weather was little better then yesterday but still AC was not optimal i m talking about the alto which dealer gave me for one day.

my car is there.

sigh i think .. i dont know wt to do..i m kinda frustrated bcz AC was my main priority then fuel .i m ok with build quality .

i dont know i cant explain my dilemma or my feelings about it.. probably i will sell alto if i m not able to resolve.

anybody or any help would be appreciate it..

i have temperature sensor too ! I coudl show you if car is standing and ac is on .. the temperature before and after

i have different cars in my home like new Vitz, my personal another car picanto .. i am not comparing but still i miss the chillness in the car (alto)

in night it works ..still not enough for back seat passengers it takes long time...

The VXR gagles too, it happen at certain rpm band and the tone is from the resonator.

The resonator can be removed as it is mounted with 2 pipes as far as I remember. I will give it a try some day to see the difference. I believe some more tune will be added or same galgling noise will increase.

Please use the thermometer probe placed inside the AC vent of different cars at different times of the day you can find the performance of the AC system easily, I am sure you will the Alto AC at par with Vitz.

As a brother mentiond above, this car is packed with excitement and fun at very cheap price. (I bought it newwhen it was million rupee cheaper )

Do you guys think it is worth getting my Alto VXL's LCD's warranty getting revoked to install a reverse camera? Also is it safe because they'll probably make a cut in the reverse light wire for the camera's connection? Any other warranties that'll get void bcz of wire cuts?

Suzuki is mad, They might not accept engine failure due to reverse light cutout.

I read in your post thar you have the thermometer to record the temperature, hence suggested to put its probe in the AC vent
