Havoline 0W-20 is also good oil. I used it for couple of years before switching to Honda oil.I heard reviews for Total lubricants as well
Hi Fellow Alto Owners,Has anyone got their compensation cheque (KIBOR + 3%) from suzuki recently. Specifically asking people whose cars got delivered in October till December last year i.e. 2022? I have emailed them in the start of August and they keep saying that its under consideration, whatever that means. Any how in the past I have called and checked with Suzuki and they told me me that no compensation cheques have been delivered for the deliveries after July 2022. Any news on the above shall be appreciated. Thanks.
i have used the guard filter, its sold by guards own daraz page.
perfectly fine to use, no change in fuel economy and MUCH MUCH cheaper than original mahle filter.

I actually called the costumer support and asked why it is so and the person hinted that they were waiting for current govt. decision/notification regarding this. So, yes seems like this is some favor given by the govt. but nothing is being said. Does anyone know the current status of the application of this kibor +3% compensation law? If there are more people like me maybe we should unite and fight it on legal grounds.

Honda told us recently that they've filed a case against the govt and have withheld late delivery charges till a decision by the court. (They claim that the late deliveries were because of imports ban by the govt and they should be exempted from paying late delivery charges)
check this out guys. i found Rear view mirror for alto with Day/Night function. the fitting is bolt on except the centre rod is a bit longer approx 2-3 mm in length. perfect for deflecting the high beams from behind.the local one is TOKAI denso brand and the japanese one ICHKOI JAPAN.

That seems like a valid reason. Since all car companies registered with PAMA are also in an agreement on such things. I guess only new govt. will be able to take up this issue now at their leisure. Thanks for the info.
The 2 most basic variants in Japanese Alto VP and L maybe they come without the day/night mirror.
All other models L/S have this day / Night mirror.

Actually i got it by chance. i was visiting magazine lane when i saw it in a shelf of a kabli parts shop. i asked him and he gave me saying k its for alto and can be fitted in old and new alto as well. so i bought one.
he also had folding handles for new alto be he was asking 2500 for single handle. i guess the folding handles are not available in the market.
