The PBO from both Honda and Toyota has a clause that allows them to increase the amount. For my Toyota it was the same, for Honda it clearly says the price at time of delivery will be applicable.

For Suzuki the PBO states the price and the delivery time will be appraised at the time of booking and will be valid if the buyer pays on time.

There is also a second note that in case of delayed payment the buyer will have to pay current prevalent price as well as the late delivery compensation entitlement will also not be entertained.

So yes the case is different in this case

Update:
Own of Rs 90k to 100k is being asked at the moment for the Alto VXL AGS.

Lets wait till 1st week of July so that the supply is more than demand & price comes closer to the invoice.
I wish we see those days soon where you can get a car at invoice price from the showroom without any waiting time.

And who would cut the 56 billion dollars import? Our markets are full of imported stuff. Just visit any super store and you will see imported edible things lying in racks which could be easily manufactured here too. Just visit car auto market and 80 percent parts and accessories are made in china / india / indonesia. And just visit junkyard for auto spare parts, all of them are imported from japan / singapore (except those stolen ones or the ones removed from wrecked local cars).
Even the cotton is now being imported from China because we are unable to grow cotton according to our needs.
Yesterday went to buy tools for car and every single one of them is imported from china. We can't even make wrench, ratchets, pliers, sockets locally.

visit over weekend and check the prices now & ask for prices in March 2019.,
since the policy review & US$ exchange rate wholesale market of such stuff is going dry, the prices have gone 3 - 5 times up for imported stuff. Soon availability will be very scarce at premium price tag. Only selected class that too from previlged class may be able to afford

a 25-30% of car being imported does not harm economy in this world.

you should stop buyin imported pamper and start using local. stop buying imported colgate and start using local colgate.

remember colgate has employed pakistanis and manufacturing toothpaste locally, if we keep buying imported smuggled colgate are they stupid to invest in pakistan. same for everything else.

you can speak to any of the car importing mafia importing cars fraudelently. now that the govt has imposed to make payment through right channel and payment can only be made by the name if importer of the car. this made them shout that they will die due to harsh importing policies lol....

we should realise some classes and people have made living out of loopholes in the system. shutting them down will only benefit the country.

the vehicle smugglers have complained to founder for me calling them criminals smugglers frauds thieves money laundrers

i gave the policy facts to founder and 12 point questionaire to mark the compliance and seek an apology from me --

all failed to reply more then 4 questions, and smugglers got paralysed to COMA

I called Suzuki Raiwind Motor Lahore, they said at any dealership you have to pay the full price. They were not taking orders as their quota was over.
Then I called Suzuki regional sales office Lahore. They are only booking with 500k, full price is not even an option for them. According to them delivery price will be applicable which was not the case previously but it has been changed and enforced recently. According to them they will take 15 days to confirm delivery date.
So price lock confusion is still there.

Please see the Back side of my PBO no such thing mentioned. The line prevailing price is with * as it was being done earlier without disclosing the price of Alto, this is mentioned now.

Yes from PS booking office and it took i think ten minutes, immediately done and sorted. Please take 02 NIC copy, Two Copy of Electricity or gas or telephone bill with address. Your filer status will be checked and mobile number noted. next they will give three printout of the PBO, two sets they will keep and one will be given to you. You will give your preferred dealership and in 01 to 02 days you will get confirmation of dealership allocated

What color are you guys booking, please share. Anyone yet seen blue car. Please share if you have pics. I want to book but I am confused about the color. Can we change color later.

I booked blue have not seen one physically. however the lady at PS said the most favorite color was white and silver(do note that these colors demand mos resale) as for blue it is personal preference.

Wanted to book black but it was not shown even in pictures so did not select.

For change of color 1 month before deliver and payment of final dues, you have to give a written request to the dealership that is handling your case, it is highly probable that they will change the color but the request can be denied also. so elemnt of risk is there.
