Bro...dont ever go downhill in neutral in any car ever ever ever....even if u are crawling down in traffic....car going down in 1st gear will literally brake for you automatically....try it on a steep parking lot slope, the car will keep u in a constant slow speed (about 5/10kph)....approach and stop right before slope begins....move ahead enough so that car is on slope and let go off clutch and pedal (keep ur foot ready at brake) and see how the car will go down slowly..

That's your opinion but using N for uphill/downhill is not recommended, You may use the Manual drive option on VXL while using uphill for better control but N is out of question. Anyways your car your driving style, N is not made to be used while driving, you gain nothing but chances of loosing everything are there.

You must be either from karachi or southern punjab/pakistan because anyone from the north specially islamabad wouldn't behave like this on uphill or downhills. Please dont do this. You will put yourself and everyone else in danger.

When in traffic jam or whenever auto car is stopped, always switch to N to avoid straining the engine and brakes.

I do agree with the kid here BUT only agree with the part i am quoting above nothing else. Because its a manual auto tranny so when you are at a red light its recommended to idle at N as at D the clutch is engaged which you wouldnt want to wear our prematurely. also its easy on the breaks too.

I idle at neutral in my altis too because i dont want to keep my foot on break i just use handbrake and chill on red light.

Do you know how AGS work?
If you don't put car in neutral and keep your foot on brakes while stopping at signals you will damage its clutch plates.

Alto VXL (AGS) Delivery update in Karachi for new bookings:

Delivery Time is reduced to 3 months or before (4 months quoted previously)
Own amount is reduced to 50k (previously 115k)

Can anyone update if they have received their vehicle ahead of time (like significantly early) in Karachi?

What about VXR? How much is the delivery time for VXR and own amount. In lahore people are asking from 85 thousand to 115000 for VXR.

didn't asked the own for VXR, but delivery time is 2 months (or less) as quoted by the dealer

Well after writing this message i contact myself to one of Suzuki dealership, he said something like if you go for a new invoice the own amount is 15 to 20. If you go for old the invoice than its something around 70 to 80. Delivery time is one month for bank alfalah. I dont know for others.

To all those going bonkers at my reply regarding changing to N while stuck in jams uphill/ downhill in an auto tranny/AGS car.
Switch to N whenever you are idling. Now if you are in a jam going downhill or climbing then it will help you as well, i hope its clear this time. Car rocket us waqt banegi jab apkay breaks kharab hongay ya apka dimagh kharab hoga otherwise nahi banegi !
Now to all those saying that changing stick position wears out or harms the transmission, i can only say lets just agree to disagree !

I suppose you recently stsrted driving. Remember what i am about to write.

NEVER USE BRAKES ALONE WHEN GOING DOWNHILL BUT ALWAYS DEPEND ON LOW GEAR BRAKING. always go down in 1st or 2nd gear max so you brake less.

Otherwise you will be one of those people with sindh numer, lahore or sargodha number car guys whose brake either fail or heat up in northern pakistan because they are only braking when going downhill. JazakAllah.

Don't know about khi, but here in isd i got my vxr in 13 days. I booked it on 16 july and on 29 they call me for delivery. Shukar Alhamdulillah.
I Booked it with full amount and at the time of booking 45 days delivery time was communicated by sales manager of suzuki central. By the way I don't have any reference in suzuki...
