Ironically, one of the guys at the Bilal Gunj told me the exact same thing, i.e not good for Cuore cuz you'll end up losing control !
I have changed my tires to 155/70/R12 from the stock 145/70/R12. Not much of a change, no alloy rims, stock rims, but my steering feels hard compared to what it was initially.

na then i suggest u dnt go for this EPS thing, this will really make u end up loose control.. if u had something like 165/65/13 or above, then it would've helpd.. but with the tire size u have, stick to the stock i suggest..

What kind of installation EPS requires ? Any change of stock steering or other components.
Also, which are the good tires for R12, any size, 145/155/165.

eps installation is very simple.. what needs to be done is that your steering column(from the steering wheel to the cross) is removed and the other column with the eps kit on it is installed.. and after that just a pulse wiring is done from the distributor of the car to the ECU of the EPS so that it can sense the speed of the car and provide assistance accordingly..

And about the tyres, i have Michlen 165/65/13 on my ride, they are soft and grip is awesome.. you can go for them in 165/70/12 or yokohama s505 in 165/70/12 is also a gud tyre. i was having them previously..

They dun offer waranties at Bilal Gunj, how we cover the risk then ?
Any ideas about Dunlops, Nexen, Falken. Yokos are too soft, too many tire dealers talk about yokos and Dunlop side wall swolleing. True ?

Its a nice DIY. I am also planning to instal this in my Alto but there is one point to understand that how you calibrate its odo meter w.r.t present reading.

No brother the meter is of Alto 660 CC, so for 1000CC red line at 7 is fair.. nd the engine sound also shows that red line at 7 is pretty fine..

Got it calibrated from bilal gunj. that guy asked Rs. 500 for the job..
