Suzuki Alto Speedo Meter Change

Hi All,
Previously i installed LEDs in the speedo of my alto, learnt it from a Pakwheeler Asad... Now i thought to get the meter changed with an RPM meter.... So went to bilal gunj and after spending 3 hours there, i succeeded in finding this meter for my car..
Its of Suzuki Kei and fits bolt to bolt in alto...
Did the fitting myself and played a trick.. and that was as this is a meter with automatic transmission lights, i took a wire from the reverse light of my car and looped it with the meter, now when i engage the reverse gear, the "R" in the meter glows.. it really looks kool..and there is a beep beep sound.

Hi,

You've got a real cool meter there. Quick question, I was at the Bilal Gunj looking for an RPM meter for Cuore, saw two, one with white numbers just like yours and the other with red/orange needles and numbers. Question is how do I know, what light the white numbers meter has, I mean yours is white but has an orange light, one I am looking for.

So, should I buy the orange numbers one or stick with the white ones. Huge price difference, white's for 2500 and orange for 4000.

Hi brother, thanks for ure comments.. and now about ure question..

hmm.. actually the meter i have it has the numbers in white but they are transparent, means that the light of the bulb below will pas thru the numbers and glow them in the same color. i have myself changed the bulbs to orange, the ones with the meter were green, needles are red though, so just check if the meter with white numbers is transparent, then go for it and change the bulbs.. hope it helps..

nd btw, there is a person, ajmal butt in bilal gunj, he has an awesome rpm meter for cuore.. but asks 4000..

Yes he is quite close to allied bank. and for the bulbs go for the red ones, my meter also has red ones, they have light like this... and in bilal gunj there are plenty of shops, to be exact, 0322-4241500, person's name is shakeel. he is an electrition. when you reach allied bank, give him a call and meet him and then tell him that you need meter bulbs.. he will take you to the place, red ones cost rs30 each.. and i think you can easily get these bulbs from montgomry road too..

i dnt think it will fit in mehran bcoz mehran has very little instrument cluster space.

Hwz electronic power steering working ? I beileve it doesn't have the power steering fluid, rite ?
How much it costed, inc. fitting. Is it worth it in Cuore ?

Electric power steering is just wonderful janab.. so smooth and tension free ride.. :).. it has almost reduced the effort required to turn the steering wheel from 100 to 10 :P... no fluids, no pumps, just a ECU and a motor attached to the steering column.. you can see the pics here: https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/members-member-rides/127163-my-alto-vxr-cng-2007-a

and cost was 4000 and fitting 1000.. i dnt recommend it on cuore as i think coure's steering is way too soft.. ure ride will loose control if u install it, but if you have changed ure rims and tyres to alloys and to a bigger size compared to stock, then u can install it, no worries...
