Suzuki Alto VXL Reverse Gear Delay

I have an Alto VXL 2022 Model received the car from the dealership on 23 Dec 2022, I am facing a problem this problem is not regular it occurs sometimes when I change the gear from D to R there happens to be a 2 - 3 second delay in the shifting does anyone else is having this problem

i had this issue in my 21 vxl, occurred completely randomly.

Agree with @nfssaad. I have also been experiencing some lag at times while putting the Alto VXL AGS in R gear since buying it brand new, but it mostly happened when the car was started with cold engine and/or when the brake pedal was not pushed/depressed completely.

I purchased a VXL AGS Alto in September 2019. Since yesterday, I've been hearing a strange (khraachhhhh) sound whenever I put the gear into R. I've checked the gear and engine oil levels, and they seem fine. However, I'm puzzled as to why this sound has suddenly started. I regularly service and maintain my car at an authorized service center (Danish Motor, Karachi). I'm posting here to see if anyone else has experienced a similar issue. Could this be due to wear and tear over time, or is it a manufacturing issue? The car has only been driven 32,000 kilometers in the last 4.5 years. Can someone provide guidance, please?

try to move the car a little forward and then engage reverse
