Suzuki Alto VXR 2005 Qabli AC Performance

Hi Everyone,

I have installed a qabli compressor Denso in my Alto VXR 2005 1000cc. I want to ask few things as I do not remember how was its cooling for rear passengers when it was brand new.

I have few questions in this regards

If I set the thermostat on 3 and 4 then there is a lot of fan noise in the cabin but i can feel little cool and in 1 0r 2, the fan noise is reduced but the cool air is not reaching for the rear passengers.

Is this a normal behavior or should I visit the guy again who has installed the compressor.

You are talking about blower / fan speed right?

How the performance should be with qabli compressor as I have heard they are quite good. I have installed a dute one in gli 2010 and on 2 fan speed the cabin is very chilled for all passengers.

Are you assuming that the compressor is the only component that “causes” cooling?

Pipe = Round Elongated container to carry fluids.

It is not only about compressor, Many other things take part in making cabin chilled.

First of all is insulation, Even 10 ton AC will not work in Open air.

Similarly compressor is capable but condenser is not.

Or they both are but Evaporator is not, etc etc.

So you can get better or worst cooling.

And remember that compressor puts load on engine and reduces the fuel avg.

It’s a grey Color round pipe jo ke thanda ho Jata hai jab ac chalta hai. I only know this about that. Sorry if I am not able to explain as I am not mechanic haha

Thats not a cooling pipe, its the suction/vapour/low side of the system, the reason its cold is that its the vapourised gas from the evaporator coil “going back” to the compressor.

By what you wrote, it seems like you have an idiot for an ac mechanic.

Is this normal behaviour on these old altos 2005 models that you feel less air flow for the rear passengers as compared with front ones even if you setup the knob to maximum which is 4 ?

Its not about being a mechanic to know everything about mechanical devices or machines or what ever subject/topic. Its the curiosity to know a little more deep than what I know now and than to continue the ritual and voila a mechanic/SME is born

Your vent temperature should be 4c at position 2 of fan blower with recirculate on and system stable with outside temperature of 30c but parked in shade.

Rear passengers are quite comfy in your model car at all ac blower speeds.

With higher outside temps it will be higher inner temp, however you should make sure the cabin is properly insulated, door plastic sheets etc all present and all door rubbers good condition. Aim the vents to the cieling for rear passengers, this way the air will naturally fall on them (cold air is heavy)

By what you wrote, it seems like your mechanic was an anadaaza champion. Sadly, HVAC is not andaaza work.

Just to update. I had checked my car from other ac technicians and they said to me that the ac installed on the car is not qabli and it was showing 400 pressure on the device they used to check the health of compressor.

Finally I got the ac compressor changed to a genuine qabli which was showing 100 pressure on their device after install. Now the ac cooling is mashallah perfect. I can feel the chill even on 2 speed fan blower, sitting on rear seats and even without the car in motion obviously with engine start.
