Suzuki Alto VXR 2007 Heater Control Valve Location

Hi,
This is my first thread as i did not need to post before as there were already great and useful threads out there.
So I have a suzuki alto vxr 2007 model local i-e Pakistani. Winter is here so I needed to use the heater but when I checked it did not work, upon checking engine bay I found that both the heater lines (in and out) were disconnected from the radiator/engine The hoses are there but simply not connected and the engine/radiator outlets(for heater hoses) have been block by stoppers through clamps. The heater control valve is not there.
I dont have a manual so I dont know if there supposed to be a heater control valve since I asked at the a big pindi store(dealing in suzuki parts) and they had no idea and asked me to look for it in kabarh walay k sath. so i am thinking the valve may be inside the cabin with the heater core/matrix.
Kindly help me if I should directly connect the hoses to the engine/radiator or is there a heater control valve in there that i should look for in the market 1st. if i need a control valve a picture or common name would be appreciated.

remove clamps & the blocking plugs connect both lines reclamp. The heater slider inside the cabin cluster is the controlling the flow gate. ( valve ) make sure to add coolant to expansion bottle & radiator approx 300 ml once the heater is working. Coolant flows into the heater core and level in radiator will drop significantly.

Thanks a lot for reply. I am only worried about the location of flow gate valve you mentioned, are you sure its inside the cab somewhere with the heater core and connected to the control knob/slider as you say. I think the valve should be located in the engine bay with/near the hose connections.

Actually there is no heater control valve in Alto (i assume you are talking about the one which stops coolant flow to heater core)
There are just flaps present in the HVAC unit that control's the direction of air flow.

yeah I am talking about that valve. So if there is no such valve then it means the coolant will be circulated in the heater core all the time. if that is really the case which I am beginning to believe, then that will undermine the AC performance in summer. so I have to disconnect the hoses again in summer. And that is why they were disconnected in the first place.

can somebody please upload a pic as to which hose is in and which is out and how are they connected to the engine, I mean from where is inlet taken and to where is outlet attached. thanks.
