Finally I got Thermostat valve for Alto Vxr from Plaza price 1250 rs.I tried many shops but it was available in few shops only and the price was around 1250 to 1300 rs.m not sure if it's Made in Japan!!I guess New is better than Kabli

Good purchase. Assume it is not made in Japan as I think Japanese parts for Alto's engine are not being manufactured in Japan anymore. Maybe Thailand or Taiwan. But the important thing is that your engine will operate at its correct temperature. And the only way I know to check if it is functioning or not is to install it in your engine and wait for the auto fan to switch on. If it switches on after a few minutes that means the water temperature has reached its normal operating temperature and engine is now warm enough to operate safely.
Put it in boiling water, the valve should open slowly with in a minute. Once open, put in cold water it should close.

I I have a query above pic is from my margalla 97 GA ,Fan is automatic and kicks on when temp needle at this position.Some thing wrong with my temp sensor.Both cars having same thermostat 82c.Xulfiqar please explain?
