Suzuki Baleno 1.6Gti Hick Ups

Hi I am having a serious problem with my car these days.. as I go from 1st gear to 2nd or even in 1st gear when the rpm is 2k, the engine hick ups 2 or three times and then gets the smooth run.. I have consulted the mechanic for it we have changed the Plugs and the plug wires of it.. it was ok for like 90 km run but later the thing starts again.... The problem goes more when i turn on the AC and its on CNG..
Took it to other mechanic he said there somthing wrong with the 2 of the
"16 valves" but i heared that defected valve oils up the plugs ..my plugs are dry as i check them out...

Somtimes The RPM fluctuates from 0.5 to 1k when the car isnt running.... please help I m quiet confused ..

did u check the throttle body?

if the misfire prob is in cng only then you need to change the wires
but before that check the plugs but am 98% sure these are cus of the wires if it misfires at low rpm and specially high gear and low engine speed

baleno wires have a short life
and am sure you have the 2000 shape baleno ones without the coil type wires

Check your distributor.............as in get a second hand replacement and check if the problem persists.

most probably the distributor is oiled up or damaged internally. rebuild or replace.

Plugs Wired are ok according to one mechanic and they are weak according to the second.. i m not sure who is the liar ...

yea i got it cleaned with that spray thingy... got it tuned up with that computer.. got my tappets adjusted .. got it totally serviced..and it ran ok just for one day or so :( ....

The problem isnt with the plugs as i have replaced with new ones.. why does it run ok for the time being with the new plugs and later it misfires or hick ups!
I was checking the distributor with the engine on it gave me an electric shock may this wd be the leakage ov the current or somthing? secondly please tell me if its the VALVE problem? cuzz i m confused as according to that mechanic i have to open my Gas head kit..etc etc.. to get the valves grind or somthing... i dont want to go that deep in to the engine may be he is just playing a trick.. anyways,

the Wires can be the problem but flumoxed by the theory of its smooth run for like a day with new plugs and suddenly the problem gets back

some hiccough is normal in baleno specilly on cng, will be felt more when cold.

as JZ has asked abt throttle body have you cleaned it yourself or from a mechanic, plz clean it from a propper mechanic

check your air filter, if dirty replace it..

instead of going to road side mechanics go to Suzuki 3 S stealership..they will be a bit expensive in terms of services but can diagnose if the coils are faulty.. but dont buy spaes from them, try to find genuine ones in open market.
try to fill cng from a good cng station once you find it try to stick to that station... cng quality is 1 of the most fluctating thing among fuels..
in the end plz do the cng settings from a good mechanic.

On petrol even if i press the acclerator full the RPM goes dead and feels hardly anything car coughs like hell and then i hv to get momentum to make it run slowly...but it doesnt happen all the time ...When the car is cold the car runs fine on petrol..and on Cng as well ! temprature makes it go mad and so as me

Dude take it to some authorized dealer and get it checked. They will charge you bit high but it will be one time. The headache of spending money again and again will be gone. Personally , I have no idea what your problem is and how to resolve it, but all you will get from here is knowledge which if you do it yourself is good but if you are standing on mechanix head and guiding him trust me the problem wont go away. Take it to suzuki authorized dealer and get rid of the problem once and for all.

to isolate valve problems do a compression test. What Im thinking is a sensor being heat soaked and failing. Its a rare occurance but can happen.

well the problem according to suzuki 3S check up was plug guage adjustmnt they did lil adjustment i m feeling it quiet better now thou the problem isnt eradicated complty somehow i can feel the power back again ... the CnG advancer was malfunctioning as well i guess after replacing that i wd feel much more easy going with the power issues .. thanks for your concern and so quick replies thanks evrybody thanks alot!! this is the first time i asked smthin out here and its a great response !!
