Suzuki baleno manual to Automatic transmission conversion

Hello guys, hope everyone is doing good
I want to convert my Baleno jxr 2005 running on original G13BB engine to automatic transmission, please explain in detail about the parts which will be required for this swap, the main point I'm doubtful about is whether or not I will have to replace the complete main engine wiring and ECU of the car? I've heard the auto transmission for baleno comes with its own computer called the TCU, please share your experiences

Sir what if we don't change engine wiring and ecu and only swap transmission and add TCU also replace axles etc, what problems will be faced in this condition?

Dear it would be better to get japanese version of the engine preferably 1500 CC one with auto transmission and do a bolt on swap.

Do share your findings here. also remember car milage/litre will reduce with auto transmission.

I don't have budget for 1500cc setup that's the problem and which is why I want to get the same 1300cc engine converted to auto, I know mileage will be reduced but keeping in mind the comfort of auto transmission, fuel average can be managed

Dear Managing an Auto gear box with all the extras needed for integrating it with the current engine might cost the same as getting a complete set with engine and gear box. besides your ride will likely improve along with G15 series engine since they have much better torque to manage auto box. Further to that considering superior consumption figures for G15 engines your milage issue might get addressed with auto box as well.

1-Autobox with Axles, mount wiring and ECU
2-Gear lever console complete with control cables.
3-Pedal set
4-Speedometer
5-Ignition switch if u want that key wont come out unless u shift in park.
6-radiator, as for autobox u need radiator with cooling lines for auto txn.

as suggested above, its better to do a nosecut swap from a donor car, it will be hassel free and cost effective to, as u wont be needing to hunt for each and every part separately, and might get benefit of installing ABS unit as well as

Yes I'm still waiting for all the expert opinions on 1.3 engine, I've talked to a few people and they said for converting baleno 1.3 engine to autogear, the wiring and ecu doesn't have to be changed, only autogear and transmission control unit will be installed, axles will be replaced, speedometer and Gearlever will be installed that's it, otherwise if this is not true and everything has to be changed including wiring and ecu, then I'll think about g15

I couldn't understand the first point wiring and ecu for Autobox or wiring and ecu of engine?

i think same ECU will be controling both engine and TXN, so u need to swap the wiring as well,

manual and auto ecu arent same, auto varient ecu retards ignition timing when shift is about to take place

Then what's the purpose of transmission control unit which comes with g series auto transmissions if engine ecu has to control transmission as xenerking said

poster asked as if a separate, independent ECU will be needed for TXN (just like old diesel cars), which i replied that only one ECU will be controlling both engine and txn which needed to be swapped as well, offcourse with an auto variant ECU..

BTW manual ECU for baleno is hard to find, Auto ECU are abundent as most of JDM cars are auto in scrapyard.

Complete system needs to be swapped G15A.
