Some Pros:
I have only driven city 1.3 auto (never tried 1.5) and to me Ciaz feel more comfortable. Being a 4-speed auto and little less than 1.4L, i was expecting it to be sluggish like GLi auto and to some extent city 1.3 auto but i was surprised how quick Ciaz feel compared to those cars. Even the engine noise is at minimum under normal acceleration especially compared to city. Transition between gears is also very smooth. Cabin noise is also quite minimal at normal speed.
Best thing for me is the cabin space of Ciaz, it is longer in length and you have more than enough leg space for rear passengers. I am a tall person with some lower back issues but i have found the (driving) seat very comfortable with better lumbar support. I primarily drive 9th gen Civic auto but i do get back pain in it on longer drives.
It's suspension is pretty responsive and feels good on bumpy roads but you can hear a thumping sound on large pot holes (an area where corolla takes the lead from others). You might not feel it as glued to the road as city but it still feels great. Mind you that my Ciaz is still in it's beak-in period so can't comment on how it would perform under harsh conditions or if someone drives it aggressively.
