I recently checked ciaz with Altis 1.6 and to my surprise ciaz is faster. Very nicely built car by Suzuki in every way

Mine is almost 600 KM driven and the Information Display shows the average around 13 in Karachi city with AC. But definitely will be able to say anything for sure after driving few thousand KMs. Regarding gearbox i assume you meant to ask about gear transitions/shifting, right? Its super smooth and excellent.

Part of the reason is the weight of Suzuki Ciaz, which is ~975 kg while Altis is 1275 kg as per PakWheels' website.

Sir was Altis driven by a baba g? Altis 1.6 leaves city 1.5 manual behind.....easily...ciaz is responsive than. gli but no where near to 1.6

I have been testing cars from years and Ciaz is by far the fastest amongst Altis and city. I own city 1.5 myself and have a ciaz and altis 1.6 at home as well.

Inm not saying for friends....i have driven them...ciaz has very good drive but only more responsive in automatic and ofcourse faster than Gli. Rest is a different story.

Sir, you're mistaken. You've just driven them and i have them at home and have tested all three vehicles together. Ciaz really shines after 100 kms and its difficult for Altis and city to match that. The only edge Altis has is of its 2nd gear which goes on till 130kms almost , other cars with 5 gears normally shift to 3rd at around 95kms and their peak torque drops whereas Altis at that time is almost peaking it's torque figures. As soon as the other car pics up in it's 3rd gear Altis is gone for good.
Btw, i am talking about automatic transmission only. Ciaz 1.4 AT( 92bhp) vs Altis 1.6 At (122bhp) vs City 1.5 At(118bhp) .

May be...i dont have ciaz in use..but with 1.6 i gave some seriously tough time to civic...which ofcourse won easily at end

Yes it's very lightweight. Also, i believe Ciaz is more aerodynamic if compared with the rest of the lot.

Altis 1.6 has a 0-100 0f 12 seconds. Civic 2018( i assume you're taking about the current generation) has a 0-100 time of 10.2 seconds . There's literally no comparison as 1.8 second is a massive difference .
I have tested both these as well. Civic and altis go head to head till 50km almost until Civic reaches it's peak RPM in S/L ( because of CVT) . ALTIS is lost after that and the lead keeps on increasing massively.

Whats the point of this discussion? I don't understand. These are family sedans meant to be driven carefully at an adequate pace. These car are not meant for racing. Certainly not for drag racing.
