I would suggest go for it if resale isn't a concern. I have a City which was bought new in 2014 and now a Ciaz for almost a year. Ciaz is better family car in all honesty. Comfier, softer suspension, seats, comes with decent Bridgestone tyres. Features wise, nothing extraordinary, but better than the city in some small things.

I have nothing against the city. As a matter of fact the City is my daily work horse and still running strong with 160k on the ODO. But so far the Ciaz has not disappointed at all. Take care of it and it should serve you well like any other car.

I have also changed from city to ciaz. It is overall better car and more comfortable. Yes, it hasn't been launched properly in Pakistan and will have resale issues. Any1 who is to keep car for some years, its a good choice, specially if auto car required as it has best mileage in auto cars of its league.

I drove Ciaz couple of times, I must say, its driving experience is impressive, What I personally like about Ciaz is: responsive engine, excellent fuel economy (it was surprise for me, I researched and found that reason is advance K14B VVT engine and light body weight) and soft suspension and not to mention quite good A/C performance. However On downside, I think its interior is bit outdated and resale is not good.

Please guide. I purchased a brand new ciaz 2 months ago. Driven about 800 kms uptil now. I notice that once it passes a speed breaker a 'clunk' sound comes. At first I thought that its base might have touched the road but later realized its coming from rear left side. Suspension related probably. Anyone else experienced it?

My ciaz 32000 kms and two years , no such sound or any other trouble. Get it checked , maybe some tightening of nut bolts required.

Thankyou everyone. Had it checked yesterday. It was due to a stone lodged between the rear left coil and rubber boot. However what are your views on the cabin noise while driving. My ciaz feels like as if I am driving with hard tyres even with tyre pressure adjusted to 29 psi. Humming is quite noticeable...

Ciaz is a good car, value to money, and better than Honda City, however, resale and parts availability can be an issue.
