The OEM tyre on Ciaz is actually a very Hard and Noisy tyre.

Ecopia Produces a strong Humming Noise At 40-60km/hr speed .

And when i bought my ciaz brand new in 2017 i thought that its the noise of bearing but its actually the noise of tyres.

Which i changed as soon as i boight the car and the car becomes soft and noiseless.

Also never ever change the OEM steel wheels on Ciaz with pathetic chinese or thiland rims .

Steel rims performed best on Ciaz

Bridgestone Ecopia are designed only to get maximum fuel average out of car they are very reliable and nice tyres but are not suitable for our cracked roads.

But I drove my Ciaz first 2000km on Ecopia and i noticed that on Long routes after the car almost 50km the tyres start getting soft, and then you will feel that the tyre start absorbing bumps brilliantly

4 speed auto. Brand new ciaz auto gave me 15 km/l with ac always on. After 1000km initial oil change and adding 10W40 instead of 5w30 the economy is 14km/l.

+1. The noise does seem like bearings. I was also suspecting bridgestone tyres to be hard. Thx for the good input. Good to hear that changing to yokohama quietened the humming.

I bought the car keeping quality for money in mind considering its built in Thailand. Resale does seem to be bad. My purchase was a reliable comfort troublefree 10 to 20 years.

Well, the car is better then same league cars in all fields and resale can get picked if they manufacture it in Pakistan in future...or import more cars. Let's see...but in comfort and reliability..it's much better

I think brand new Suzuki Ciaz in facilifted form is not on offer / sale.

Some even say that Ciaz seems discontinued, and dealerships are not taking orders for new, fresh booking.

When you ask them officially... They say not discontinued but we have stopped bookings for now. Wt i heard, due to dollar rate, now if they import ciaz, it will be around 30, 30 lac plus bracket which is quite high... Specially when ciaz has not got much market share in the cty. The future of this car lies only in in cty manufacturing. If it happens, it will be a popular car as i own it after city and feel its way better than atleast city and in some ways than gli specially once compared in auto

Ali express wale maine mangwae hain.

Front ones fits perfectly but rear ones dont fit asian modle they are designed for China and American / European modle

Does government provide custom relaxation to companies who import CBUs from Thailand??

Because price of Ciaz and Rush in Pakistan is almost equal or slightly higher to the actual price of Ciaz that it should be if it is manufactured in Pakistan.

So why dont Local Car dealers who import JDMs dont import brand new Cars from Thailand like New Corolla or 7th Gen City.

Because if we consider price of rush in thilan it is almost equal to Corolla .

Rush is 53 lack corolla will be 55 or 60 but much higher in quality than PKDM

Govt, as a principal is not to encourage imports in car industry n overall too. You are thinking from consumer point of view :). So, middle way is adopted, on new cars import, duties r heavy and for used, some margins are given to have bussiness going for car dealers

Brother if an individual wants to import a fresh, band new car from abroad, he can; but then the custom duties and other taxes combined are very high, sometimes, even as high as 250-450% the actual price of that car abroad, so it ultimately proves quite costly and unfeasible.

For local car assemblers, I think, the policies / rates are somewhat different.
