I also wanted to get it due to the fact that my budget is 2500k (and Ciaz is a decent ride and now it got an edge due to price factor) and cant get city/yaris in that price tag however to my surprise the Gujranwala Pak Suzuki 3s told me that new booking for ciaz is halted as it is discontinued by Pak Suzuki. Therefore I skipped the idea even to get a little used Ciaz because once people will come to know in a year that it's discontinued then it's resale price will go Nose-Down like that happened with Liana in past.
It was the right time for Ciaz to become a mild success in the market due to price edge on its competitors however Pak-Suzuki decided the other way.

When its city drive, it becomes very subjective.
I have observed car to give between 12-14 km/l in city with ac(congested... Short drives mostly in my case).
I went to lhr from rwp and back with one tank.... Had to refuel on chakri road on return.... Average on meter was around 22

Question for ciaz owners only:
What ru thinking now after discontinued ciaz from suzuki. Selling the car or keeping it?
I have personally liked ciaz alot... And gli auto and city prosmatic doesnt appeal me after keeping ciaz.
So, with limited options in the range, i am still thinking to keep ciaz. Parts availability apparently not an issue for now.
Ppl do compare it with fate of liana. Thats a worry, but liana i guess also had a technical hitch at that time... Coils and mechanics unable to deal that.
What is your though process atnow?

I think ciaz owners should be relatively worry free for the next couple of years, after that they can sell it at current value or some loss (depends on economy).
But those who plan on keeping ciaz long term have to be prepared for some trouble with spare parts and a nosedive in its value if they sell it after 5 years or so.

Today i visited suzuki 3s for decision regarding new ride and I found out that they again started Kizashi import instead of continuing Ciaz and one Black pearl color is available for display on showroom and also booking for any other color was open too. However, Mega carry and Ciaz is discontinued and not available for booking ...

brother you may check on Suzuki Gujranwala Motors (3s dealer) by yourself the Kizashi on display and open for booking.... although some PakWheeler moderator suggested in another thread that it may be old stock (unsold cars) and this 3S wana clear it. Check it with your local pak suzuki 3s and confirm here, regards But one aspect is confirmed that Ciaz is no longer available for booking and Pak Suzuki discontinued its sedan that was now gaining popularity in comparison to city/yaris.

I got my ciaz A/T brand new in 2018 for 1890000/- Now what can we buy for this much. And above all I am absolutely satisfied with my car after 35000 kms. Touch wood no problem at all.

brother you may keep Ciaz however the yearly depreciation will be much higher once discontinuation news spread across of this model. Look at the price of 2010 City (14 to 16 lack), GLI 1.3 (15 to 17 lack) and check price of 2010 Liana 1.3 (7 to 8 lack). Now you may count yearly depreciation of these 3 sedans and you'll get my point. When after using 10 years a sedan you wana upgrade how much money will you add after selling your old car. If you wana keep Ciaz for next 5 years then compute the depreciation accordingly so that when you plan to upgrade you have sufficient amount to upgrade to a sedan then.
At present (or in next 6 months) you may sale your Ciaz for 22+ lacks and i think its the right time to avoid high depreciation cost in future.
However, if money is not your concern or you are driving a company car then its totally ok to keep it as no doubt its more comfortable spacious than its competitors.
That's my personal opinion dear.

IMO, fate / case of Ciaz will be different than that of LIANA, and it cannot be compared with it.

LIANA had many issues, most important being the technical ones (CNG + Petrol, CNG settings / Petrol settings messed up, etc.).

As far as I know, Ciaz never had, and never faced any technical issues, and none of its owners complained about anything, be it AC, Engine, transmission, suspension, etc. So, on technical grounds, Ciaz is a very fine car, unlike LIANA, and I doubt, it will fail and / or depreciate quickly, as LIANA did in the past.

Some time ago, one of our members here said that his (or his company's) Ciaz was driven around 3.5 lac Kms in 2~3 years time, and then sold. At the time of selling, engine was as good and strong as new one (reason: Timely maintenance).

YES, availability of parts for Ciaz can be an issue, but is not only the case for Ciaz. Many cars in the past, which were abandoned by their parent companies, faced similar fates (Honda Accord being one, which had been officially launched here in Pakistan by Atlas Honda, etc... etc...)

you may be right Basit bro but time will tell, lets re-post in this forum in 2030 to compare the resale value of 2020 model City/GLI and Ciaz on the basis of depreciation per year index. But in my humble opinion, buyer's mentality is totally different in Pakistan (this is the same reason that a sedan like Ciaz couldn't become successful in comparison to lesser value to money low features city/gli in past three years). Liana was never a bad car at all also but perception of people based on local mechanics reviews failed that sedan badly (a well maintained 2006 liana are alive in hundreds today but sadly with a resale price of 4.5-5.5 lack for 2006 1.3 MT model).
I may be wrong but time'll tell. lets hope for the best and see
