i have recently bought used suzuki cultus vxr 2006. m facing some problem with it, i hav visited many mechanics but every1 comes up with new issue with it.
firstly at idle speed my engine turns off, i.e. at bumps or when eva i release accelerator and press clutch for slowing down, my engine turns off, same issue on long routes even if i have gone thru 100kms drive, i.e the car is heated enough but as soon as i release accelerator and press clutch, the rpm drops to zero - engine off.
when i start engine after a long time parking, the rpm goes to 1500 and engine keeps on running as long as i press accelerator and as soon as i release it, rpm comes to zero - engine off.
weneva i switch a/c on, the rpm increases to 2000, but right afta 20, 30 secs it drops down to zero, - engine off (even if i m driving it). I went to a/c mechanic, he said that a/c is fine, gas pressure and rest things are ok, nuffin needed.
therz anotha probelm that my car doesnt speed more than 100-km/h, no matter either its slope or longer i pull gears, even i cant take my car up in high places like pir sohawa (islamabad), but it goes fine till damn-e-Koh. I tried both at cng and petrol.
idle rpm for my car is 1500, if i set RPM below this point, then engine turns off at idle.
I have visited many mechanics, the first thing every mechanic does, is CNG tuning, then they say now its fine, but next morning same problem. when i go back to the same mechanic, then some say its head problem, some say valves needs to b repaired through khradiya, some say its clutch problem, some say gasket problem. every1 comes up with new solution.
recently i visited a mechanic who told me that cultus has different RPM settings for headlights, for idle, for fan switched on, for a/c, and if any of these things are active then RPM is automatically boosted via suction system.
I am confused what should i do, should i go for head repair/valve repair, or replace clutch or detailed inspection of its suction system.
And yes i see oil in my air filter compartment, near the pipe joint. Is it normal??
I am really confused and fed up with this problem, u knw wot i do at bumps or rushy area, i put my foot at both break and accelerator at a time, in order to press brake as well as avoid engine turning off.
I have no idea that how its previous owner kept this car, but i m really fedup of this car only due to its engine.
Any suggestions for good cultus mechanic is appreciable.
