Suzuki Cultus 2008 EFI Power steering suddenly stops working and start working again

Hi,

Seeking your guidance with regard to my cultus efi 2008. After market electronic power steering is installed the issue I am facing is while driving sometimes power steering stops working and becomes very hard. When I get back home and leave my car as is the next day when I start the car it works again. What could be the problem is it electrical problem or mechanical ? Can it be somehow related to suspension as I feel car is going here and there when driving but not too much.

If you are from Karachi, would you please tell from where you had that conversion?

Yes I'm from Karachi, when I bought the car it was already installed but at that time it was ok and working absolutely fine. My car's speedometer is not working now and I think this may be the reason of EPS not working perfectly. But I'm quite unsure of the reason. Soon I'll go visit an auto electrician and find out the real cause but first I'll go fix (replace) the meter garari from shersha and see if that fix the issue.

Thanks for your response. I suggest you to visit Yousuf Bhai/ Khalid/ Zubair at Masjid Khizra PSO Petrol Pump near Passport Office, Saddar. They are honest guys, and will solve the problem. You can see them daily between 11 am to 1.30 and than after 3pm till 5.30 pm.

Are these guys auto electricians or mechanic ?

Primarily mechanics but deal with all issues. They may refer you to some one capable of helping you out.
