Cultus 2017 Test Drive and Owner Review
Overview
Hello, Pakwheelers! Today’s test drive and review is about 2017
Suzuki Cultus which has been recently launched by Pak-Suzuki Motor Company.
Suzuki Cultus is a locally manufacture Car. The Suzuki Cultus has been known as
Celerio in Other Countries like India. Cultus has been Introduced in Two
Variants VXL and VXR in which Both are Manual Transmission. Cultus has a
Warranty of 3 years or 60,000KM whichever comes first.
Exterior:
When it's come to exterior it's not like a Normal Pak-Suzuki
car .Cultus exterior from Front look is very appealing Thanks to All-in-one
Headlights which gives Cultus a modern looking car. The Chrome Grill gives a
pleasant Feeling. The Curves from Bonnet to Bumper adds a great experience for
the viewer. There is a pre-installed Fog lamp in Bumper which can be only available
in VXL Variant. Cultus got electric power side mirrors only available in VXL.
Talk about wheels Cultus comes with Alloy rims with General Tycoon tire size of
165/65-R14 only Available in VXL Variant. A bit high from ground with a ground
clearance of 145mm. From back No doubt Cultus look very Good and a modern day Hatchback
Car in every aspect Nothing to complain about. With the side swapped tail lights
give a prestige. The trunk of the Cultus offers electric lock which means no
need for key to put in trunk if you want to open from outside. Only Need to
unlock From Key remote. The Luggage capacity is 254litres which is good Space
for a Hatchback with a standard wheel size spare tire. Also the
trunk opening is wide. With a Shopping Bag Hook.
Interior:
The interior of the Cultus is also beautiful despite that
fact that it’s Two Tone Color Scheme but The Dark 2 Colors Came across doors
and Dashboard make this perception become less. The quality of interior
Fittings and material is Nice. If we talk about Entertainment system Cultus
comes with 2Din Media Player with CD, USB, AUX and Bluetooth, Hand-free Option
Having 4 Speakers in mounted in Doors with Roof Mounted Antenna. The
Speedometer adds looks to dashboard with a Fuel, speed and RPM also having a
multi-info display which shows, Fuel Consumption, range and Clock with a
beautiful color scheme of white and Red. Front Doors having fabric trim, and a
trim pockets and power window control. The fabric of Seats is of very good
quality and seams long-lasting. The absence of rear seat headrest seems to a
have lack. And one more thing I notice is the absence of vanity mirror in sun visor.
The gear Knob Position is good . The three spoke Electronic steering looks adequate.
Air conditioning is manually controllable with air filter. If we talk about
space inside Cultus is good and rear leg room is also good. Driving position a
little high and the help of (A) Pillar diversion driver has a good visibility
of its surrounding.
Performance:
Suzuki Cultus comes with an EFI K-10B 3 cylinders DOHC (Dual
Overhead Cam) Engine which Produces 90N.M of Torque at 3,500RPM is great for
city driving as well as fuel Economy with the help of lightweight aluminum head
it pulls a body of 795KGs without a hitch.
Great engine response through electronic Throttle control. A little change in
compression from 10 to 11.0 with lite change in bore and Stork.
Handling:
If we Compare Cultus with Wagon-R Cultus is better. With
2425mm of Wheelbase Cultus got a very good handling while cornering, High-speed
and a with aerodynamic Shape cross winds is not a problem for Cultus which most
of user face in wagon-R
Safety:
When it comes to
safety Suzuki Cultus Beats every car locally in its category with Two Front SRS
Airbags. For Front passenger and the Driver. The braking of Cultus is good
because of Front Ventilated Disc with rear Drum Having ABS and I Quite like is
ABS clicking sound when hard breaking. For Theft control Suzuki Cultus is
Equipped with Immobilizer.
Conclusion:
Suzuki Cultus seems to have a very good Complete Hatchback in
local Market. Where local manufacturers Lacks Basic safety features I think
Cultus is true value for money car from Pak-Suzuki . It’s just a matter of time
when Cultus is again a successful and most popular hatchback in Pakistan
