Well, thanks guys for your suggestion. The last three days have been so hectic for me so I will share my personal experience with all of you.
I am from Multan. I had purchased the car from Lahore (for the used certified option)and had to visit them twice in last month to have it checked but the same answer was given that everything is fine. I visited the biggest service centre here in Multan on Thursday and they gave me the shocking news. The car's AGS system was leaking and it was completely done for. That is why it was playing up. They were reluctant to touch it. According to them, Suzuki has asked them to not touch the AGS system at any cost. I got in touch with the Lahore guys where I purchase it from. Both teams were in contact and multanis made it clear that AGS needs to be replaced and we are not going to touch it.
Lahoris asked me to bring the car to them once again. At that point, I had enough. My only demand was to take their car back. I was done with this AGS shit. Lahori team requested Multan guys to put Dot 4 brake oil in it because oil was leaking so fast and request us to bring it to Lahore. We agreed. There is also another point to note here. The Multan dealership charged us nothing for their work, they did not create a job card. I suspect they wanted to get rid of us.
Anyways, we brought the car here to Lahore. It was under certified cars warranty otherwise we would have to keep this car and would have to pay 5.5 lacs for this AGS thing along with a new gearbox. Lahori dealership was so embarrassed and feared for our reaction. they did not even check the car and agreed to exchange or refund. They were going to deduct 50K in case of return. After some harsh words, they dropped that demand as well.
We took our full money back, closed that chapter and now I have booked a KIA Picanto.
There was another AGS 2018 car here in Multan dealership workshop. They told us that it is here for the last two weeks because it is out of warranty and the customer cannot pay for a replacement unit (5.5 lacs).
So I will say "STAY AWAY FROM AGS"... If my car was out of warranty, what could I have done? this was my lifetime savings. Suzuki is playing with people with this AGS thing and people don't even know it.
Someone needs to speak at the social platform about it. This is a scam, they cannot do this to people.
