Suzuki cultus 3 cylinder engine problems

i have Suzuki cultus 2003 vxr i want to repairing engine because it reduces oil and car is not gaining any pick up and no speed consuming petrol too much . Today i traveled 60km without a/c on petrol the fuel tank was full and while reaching home it was half tank i was shock it is drinking fuel too much very bad average and one more thing i was on high way i applied 5th gear on 100 the gear usually decreases the speed and jammed at constant speed of 70km/hr. please tell me guys what will be the cost of repairing this engine with new head. i am waiting for brothers to discuss this issue

Get its piston rings and valves changed. Also service the carburetor or change it. Bad mileage is due to bad carburetor. Plus look under the engine bay and see if there is any oil leakage.

only carburetor cant be considered culprit in low mileage, it could be engine itself
You need overhaul your engine and gear need to be checked as well

Make sure coolant lines to carb aren't chock (common reason for bad consumption in g10a) this happens due to running dead cold

Second get compression test done

Also ensure pcv & breather pipe is good

BTW what's odo reading

I had a blocked coolant line to carburettor, still car is giving good mileage
Today cleaned the pipe and fitted back... fingers crossed for further mileage testing

If you still don't have t.valve you won't seen difference in mileage

Dear All members. I have Cultus 2000 Model which is three cylinder car not efi. Last year I have overhauled (bored) the car in June-July but recently 2-3 months I have facing heating issues. When I discuss the matter with Mechanic, he said that Gasket is finished & when he opened the car the engine look like below pictures.

Now the main issue is that the three circles (cylinders) edges are bitten out; the mechanic further said that either to buy a new piece and then further bored (overhauled) it or to buy new assembly full engine (head + engine).

Kindly guide me about the situation and also tell me the price of Cultus 3 cylinder engine ? & also whether this new engine will be efficient or not ????

Did mechanic changed seleve in any of overhauls?

If you still don't have t.valve you won't seen difference in mileage

I don't have t. valve.. will be installing after summer hopefully...... however now my temp needle is working perfect

Previously it always showed less reading... maybe because water wasn't circulating from its path

1. distributor ka koi idea ne, I also wish to change the distributor of my khyber as mechanic messed it up and now it is parked since 2 months because I hate to drive it with too much missing, Aisin's "Original" clutch plates perform good and opt for good quality single tip plugs, clean often and tune the car properly, 4 tip is more hype than anything, us ma tip wo hi use hoti which is closest to the ground point other ones only if the closest tip has more resistance due to deposits, agar coil or plug wires theek hon tw single tip genuine plugs of denso or ngk perform better.

ok good suggestion by usman koi mjhy ye batasakty hai cultus 3 cylinder k liye kounsa condensor and compressor best rahayga in hot summer cooling kyn k abhi install hai wo weak hogya hai compressor and condensor dono din main bus front seats walo ko thodi si cooling feel hoti hai baki koi khaas result nahi and blower speed bhi ziada **** nahi as mainay service bhi karwali but no difference in cooling
