Suzuki Cultus Anti Rust Treatment

I need to get aniti-rust treatment of my 2019 Cultus in Karachi. I can see visible rust spots on body behind tyre. When i got it serviced the guy told me there are rust spots on below body. Any one can recomend good service provider in karachi. Also the estimate cost.

My car service told me that he will paint on the lower body with black color and then rust will be controlled. Telling abt expense of 5k.

nope, that's not the way to go about. only black oil paint does nothing in my view.

four steps:
1) check how deep the rust spots are behind the tyre. If they are very light (not penetrated in the body), then see if you can use a sand paper to scrub them off.
2) if they are a bit deeper, then apply light sand paper and apply rust converter. (available from kktraders office near jheel park, tariq road). The bottle is i guess for Rs.1200-1400. You can ask the service guy to apply it with a paint brush (make sure to dilute it as per the instructions on the bottle).
3) once done, apply some primer on those spots.
4) now comes the undercoat part. There are two options. i) 3M rubberised undercoating. PSO (adjacent to navy housing scheme gate on dalmia road) , quoted me i guess 15-17k 5 months ago. this includes service and the material everything. , ii) alternatively, you can buy 2 tins of berger autoshield from paint market at PKR1100 each i guess. buy 2 small quarters of black oil paint and 2 litres petrol. Go to any service station and ask them to undercoat. Service charges vary

the thing is that you would need 1.25-1.5 tins of autoshield. But you have to buy 2 tins. Same goes for oil paint. So total expense would be like 9k-10k. If you want to reduce the expense then you can use 1 tin and dilute it more. Obviously, the effectiveness would be lesser

make sure to cover all rubber parts, pipes, wiring , cables beneath the car before spraying

Never ever paint any rust spots without treating the rust 1st, i am sharing a link for rust converter, it will convert rust with chemical process and prepare the base for the paint. you can get it painted with original color or any undercoating.

How much quantity you used and what was the method of preparing that mixture

you can use 1:1 Ratio with water, i used only rust converter on corroded areas.
