A few months back fuel pump failed and I replaced it with the Denso fuel pump (I don’t know if it was original or a knock-off).
Since then, my Car’s RPMs are not stable at idle when AC is turned off but get stable as soon as I turn on the AC at idle.
Fuel consumption has gone bad.
I went to the Carburettor guy and asked him to service/tune the carburettor to fix the issue. He said the fuel pressure is so strong that the carburettor cannot handle it and causing all the fuss. He has asked me to install the “Kabli” pump with less pressure to solve the issue.
Should change the pump or the carburettor guy?
UPDATE
The fuel pump was faulty. Replaced it with HKT GIP-604, and got the carburettor tuned. Working fine so far.
