Reading through the analysis about Cultus, I bought a new VXR few days ago.. The other day i went to Suzuki IG motors and complained about few very basic things absent in VXR.
- No Floor Mats are provided even at Rs.1.340 millions
- No Mobile charging port/Cigarette lighter
- No vanity mirror in Sun visors.
4- No Passengers assist grips
I think these are very basic things which should have been present in All versions. After driving for at least 10 days I've found the following Pros
- Impressive fuel economy.. easily gives you 16-17 kmpl in Rwp/Isb mixed driving
- Good suspension..handles well on bumpy roads
- Impressive Ac performance
- Ground Clearance is better than Japanese counterparts
- Pick is good.. haven't checked on motorway so far
Cons:
1. VXR lacks even very basis things as mentioned below
2. Overpriced i.e less functions in more price
3. Not impressed by the power steering .. (May be because i compare it with that of Mirage)
4. Sound System is ordinary..
You can't analyse a car properly unless you compare it with other rivals.. and it's closest rivals are Vitz, Passo and Mitusbishi Mirage. In fuel economy only Mirage comes into the competition. I've a plan to make a practical demonstration of fuel efficiency of both cars..
