As told earlier, I bought VXL on discount @ Rs.1,371,000. At that time I had the options of imported Mira, Days, Alto & other 660cc cars at the very same price range. I found VXL better than these imported cars:
1) Imported cars are USED. Here I can get a brand new vehicle
2) Cultus is stronger than these JDMs.
3) Fuel economy or Cultus is equal to these Eco Idle 660cc cars.
4) No issue of parts.
5) I can get it maintained from authorized dealership
6) It has better resale value
Now coming to.my experience of driving this car for 7months:
a) Fuel average is awesome. It gives me 14-15 kmpl in city and on Lyari Express Way it gives 20-21 kmpl. However, on highways I have observed that it gives only 16-17 kmpl due to the wind pressure (probably)
b) I did not change stock tyres. I think doing so could disturb my fuel average &/or road grip.
c) This car is more of an Eco Version. This is why its engine does not pick up quickly especially with 5people on board.
d) Same is the case with AC. It trips automatically whenever you try to accelerate the car. However, this feature helps in reducing pressure on the engine & increases its life. You just need to adjust a little and you will not face any issue.
Overall it's a good family car.
