I second that. There is no such thing as "tuning" in new cars. These don't use carburetors that require adjustment. In efi cars just obd is scanned to see if there is any fault code. Stealerships usually call this process "tuning" and charge hell a lot of money for connecting their scanner and check that.
Throttle could be cleaned at home. Removing it is not required. Just spray some throttle cleaner around butterfly and IACV to clear them from carbon deposits.
Brakepads could be cleaned at home if one pays attention how mechanic opened that. Cleaning front disc brakes is very easy compared to rear brakes.
