Call me conspiracy theorist or whatever you like but Suzuki intentionally messes ECU settings so same model 1 car may give better average, another 1 mediocre average and another one same model may give worst average. I heard mixed reviews from owners of cultus. Some getting better average, some bad, some mediocre.
Now how I am making this assumption, I once took my car to a famous electronics workshop in Lahore. Electrician removed my cultus ECU and installed an EURO 4 Cultus ECU, car literally started knocking and RPM won't even stablize and car would shutdown every other second. It turned out TPS was faulty but same TPS was still working more or less fine with my own car's ECU. Wiring of Cultus non-Euro and Euro 2/4 is 100% same. So it's the FF ECU settings causing all the average mess and stuff in your car.

Lol you dont know how maps work in ecu go out unplug tos sensor and drive your car it will drive just find dont expect it to run great in unexpected situation as it wont have live data but it will work why? Ecu have maps of tps and mos stored you can run without either for some time what happened with you was your tps was busted but can kept on running on old maps but then you connected a ecu that was lying dead somewhere with no power (map erased due to long hybernation) and new ecu not having any map make your engine run stupid

^I was of the same view before the oil change.
But the difference felt after that was huge don't know why because theoretically in this temperature that shouldn't have made any difference..

Thick oil considerably increases fuel consumption and reduces power thick oil takes more energy to pass through tight tolerances also thick oil in sump puts a lot drag on crank counter weight (try reseaching on jack knife crank and super cars dry sump and you will get idea of how much drag oil can put on engine)

Exactly the same way as you told. I also watched other YouTube videos explaining the same.

There is around 0.05mm - 0.10mm difference if done incorrectly (not at the base circle). I checked that also and tried taking readings at multiple positions for experiment.

Did you overhaul/tweaked the distributor yet?

Well done.did u feel any diffefence in performance after adjusting tappets? I am very much interested to tweak the distributor. Your suggestions will be required.please​

yeah well my car does not run without TPS. It shutdown immediately unless RPM is raised from throttle. And I am pretty sure while changing ECU and working, electrician unplugged battery once to test if it fixes the problem which means my own car ECU was also reset.

And I also had to take my car out of workshop to give way to another car standing in front of me with same ECU that was causing knocking and ruining pistons.

Of course it does. There is no rocket science in that. But Suzuki pours 10w40 in all Wagon R cars. The new car that comes out of factory carries this viscosity oil. And still when one man says he gets good average and another cries about bad average, clearly it's not the oil issue.

@hassantahir2 @saboor73 @RehanBhatti I have bought cultus 2012 3 months ago and it is giving me 14-16 km/l average. I fill up the fuel tank full and then set the meter to zero and when the fuel needle touches E i divide the total kms with the with the total litres of next fuel refill.

Like yesterday i had the tank full with 30.29 liters and the car ran 447 kilometers so that makes almost 14.7 km/l on AC.

Am i calculating it wrong as i have seen on this thread people saying cultus gives 10-11 km/l in city.

My cousin yielded maximum 18.5 kmpl with AC from his EFI Cultus by driving on motorway while keeping the speed in between 90-100 kmph and seriously to me it is a torture to drive at 90-100 kmph on motorway...
Some of you guy's above getting good mileage are really lucky...

@abid110 yes i do quick shifts and mostly on 5th gear on roads and no i the milage is in the city i travel from gulistan e johar to defence daily and that's about 16-17 km. My average daily travel is 50 km.

"14kmpl tou 660cc cars deti hain" - am i calculating the average wrong? my car have touched 16.2 max and 13.8 min. I have got it all recorded since the first fuel refill.

@hassantahir2 I haven't driven at motorway actually im from karachi. Also my average speed is 70-80 max.

i suppose 9/10 is very low as i had khyber '99 before this and it give me 9 km/l on the same route. Though it was previously used on CNG.

My rough idea is that efi FF cng cultus wiring is the real culprit for its low mileage on petrol.

What is cng tank capacity of factory fitted cultus VXRi 2010? How many KGs if filling is started with empty tank?

Bhai, check your Cylinder capacity in Litre. I have learnt from same pakwheels that Formula is:
Capacity in Litres X 0.18 = Maximum amount of Gas in Kg that can be filled at 200 psi

for example if you have 50 Litre cylinder installed then it will be:
50 L X 0.18 = 9.0 Kg
55 L X 0.18 = 9.9 Kg
60 L X 0.18 = 10.8 Kg

Mine is 55 Kg so maximum gas i have accumulated was 9.2 Kg(at that time 2 factors to be considered: My cng cylinder is not serviced so some oil must be there + Pressure was not 200 psi so they also disturb exact readings)

Yes, role of wiring in EFi Cars also seems some impact on mileage performance. This is told by @sadatmasood11 bhai on some other threads and posts(Santro related) so @abid110 bhai check from this perspective too.

As your one is 2012 so as a special suggestion, never run your car in Petrol tank filled less than half Petrol(Even if u running it on CNG)
Your readings on petrol are very very good as i have mentioned; mine is giving 15.5-16 Km per Kg of CNG but on petrol, my average is very bad i.e. hardly 9-10 Km per Litre(if i travel on Share Faisal in open light traffic & in crowdy traffic, it is giving 5.5-6 Km per Litre(without A/C)

Thanks @brownrose78 for your suggestion i will keep that in mind. my car doesnt have CNG has been running on petrol since the start.

But can you explain why is it important to keep tank half fiiled? i refill the tank when the needle touches E and what i have seen in the specs the tank should contain almost 10 litre of petrol on E.

Actually after " E", there is 5 Litre instead of 10 Litre in "Reserve". Cultus has petrol tank of 35 Litres.

It is necessary to mantain half filled iniotherwise all efi otherwise dirt and dusty particles resided at bottom of tank will be sucked by inj. and ultimately with passage of time, Large residue get deposited at injectors, pump, filters and other parts in the passage.
ALSO your tank guage needle and other related sensors and readings also get affected when u drive upward at slope because less petrol will go towards 1 side downward at bottom.

Those debris can not pass through fuel filter. Instead those will clog your filter and cause missing issues due to low pressure supply.

Set spark plugs gap to 0.70mm from 0.80mm today.Engine got more low end torque.
