i have already discussed this, that for fuel pump you can easily install good new Japanese pump which is generic for many cars. i installed new Japanese pump last year in my baleno and the same pump fits in civic (older models), liana, cultus etc and it is working like a charm. never fall in trap of kabli stuff in this matter, its all useless. there are coultless places where you can get them in karachi, call Khan Autos mukka chowk 0333 2269630 and Quality autos Water pump 0333 3735128 to get full detail and go for new Japanese pump eyes closed. there is no oem part at suzuki (mostly), they sell same market stuff with 4times the price + gst + wht + fed etc etc...

i bought original Japanese fuel pump for my baleno for around 4k last year dabba pack. the same should be found under 4500 now. there is absolutely no point in going for a dealership or asking it from some other city. you will just ruin your finances and unneeded stress/workload.

In 4K, which fuel pump is coming? My fuel pump is faulty nowadays due to driven continuously on cng so which option should I go

1. In-Line pump
   Installed in engine bay near Carburettor or injectors.
   You can apparently see it in under bonnet

2. In-Tank pump
   Installation in fuel tank and you cannot see rom above.

Please do some R&D about flow rate of Fuel pump required for your model For example, In carby Cultus version, you need high flow rate pump like 90 Litre per hour while in efi Cultus, I think 70 or 75 Litres per hour is much

If your requirement is low flow rate and u install high f.r then fuel line might leak or burst due to excessive pressure

If your f.r rate is low than required, then your car will cause jerk on high speed and while driving on bridge or during climbing heighted mountains

Why carby need High flow rate Fuel pump even it's an underpowered engine.

Guys, no need to spend heavy amount on plug wires. Just check their resistance if its under spec then you are good.

I can give you my used margalla plug wires, their resistance is perfect still, but they are 20 year old

Should be perfect by your logic

also have a set of used genuine cultus wires

The problem is, they burn out at the crimped ends or the insulation breaks down....

That's the reason. Fuel injector has powerful, directional and focused fuel stream which is very smooth so a little flow rate is more than enough as the system is already powerful while in Carburettor, it is scattered, non directional and un-focused spray form so requires more pressure to meet ign. requirement.

I did this mistake in one of our Cultus when electrician installed external in line fuel pump under bonnet in engine bay. It went out of order after 1 month, he replaced it but again it went out of order after 2 - 3 months, then that time I took to Suzuki 3s, they checked both of old pumps (previous was also placed in car) they showed that 1 was 60 Litre per hour while other was 65 Litre per hour, they told that it is failing again and again because of over working due to low flow rate then they arranged from plaza on my request and replaced with some other brand which was written 30 gallons per hour means 114 Litres per Hour, this time it served long almost 8+ years, even at time of selling it after 8 years, it was in best working condition

pumps are not as simple as you think, in industry, small things like installing a pump too far from the tank or too long pipe on inlet are enough to cause failures.

Similarly, you are inviting trouble when you mount a pump far away from the fuel tank.

Best thing in my humble opinion is to stick to the original intank pump, which is the original design. Even decent chinese options are available for intank setting, I am using that in my margalla. Mitsubishi is the original tho

EFi requires a high pressure pump while carburetor requires low pressure. Too strong a pump can stress the carburetor needle valve, too small can starve the carburetor.

Ensure that fuel filter is good and also the strainer.

It is same like when some one try to use same oil filter in Carburettor version as well as in EFi version.

Flow rate required for fueling system is complete science and thus vice versa should not be interchanged.

EFi has different requirement while carby has different.

In carby, aging factor of fuel lines may cause decreased pressure resulting in malfunctioning of Fuel pumps again and again

I purchased a set of local made wires of Rs 1200 around 2 years ago. They are serving me well and their resistance is still under spec as FSM.
Btw, which trouble you were facing in your efi cultus due to bad plug wires?

I need higher CC injectors for cultus efi and want more flow for performance.

I have tried G16b fuel injectors but engine got very jerky with them. You will need standalone or piggyback to tune your engine according to more fuel. I used below injectors their flow rate is around 216cc per minute.

Did you swapped the fuel rail or changed the injectors only ?
