whats the issue? if your car is reducing some coolant, its normal since in summers the cooling system is under strain specially when AC is running and some water does get reduced in the form of steam.

just keep an eye and keep coolant topped up.

Its been 4 months not a drop reduced in my car. I use full time ac. Use proper coolant and radiator, pump, pipes should be in good condition and water level will not drop. In my 96 indus tht I sold it maintained same water for years.

thick cables will provide stable current dont you think? moreover grounding in cultus is not so good!

brother orignal cables are of the best quality actually. i tried american 8mm cables once and car started missing at high speeds.

never thought of switching from orignal cables ever afterwards.

It shouldn't reduce, in my case it's not returning back from expansion tank.

changing cap might improve the suction but usually if the water is not being sucked from spare reservior than its a leakage in the pipe or radiator which is the culprit usually.

also check if the connection in the reservior tank is connected properly and cap of reservior clicks too.

SNA is fine. japanese is around 100 Rs more so i prefered japanese cap.

Fellow Cultus owners I need a little guidance. My car is 2000 Cultus, 175k driven.
After being driven in the recent torrential rain in Karachi, following issues have popped up.
1. I suspect water mixing with oil. I checked the pull level on dip stick and it felt watery and a little little muddy. I think that water may have entered from the silencer pipe.

1. On starting the car, engine goes into very high RPMs as if auto choke has been engaged or accelerator pedal has been pressed by mistake.

What are the possible solutions experts?

Water cannot dripped to engine via silencer.

May be you have heaten up your car or there might be seals leakage or plug seals from which water might enter into engine.

High rpm also indicates water in plugs or burnt Gaskit.

Also check your radiator coolant, if it is oily then confirm gaskit issue, if no then water has entered externally.

If gaskit is fine then
Immediately go to M. M. Lube or any zic oil Centre or any service center , drain out old oil, flush engine with engine Flush fluid, put new oil, oil filter and air filter and get your car serviced
