Just a thought..
After changing tyre size from original to 175/70/R13 shouldn't we also change tyre pressure from 30 to 31-32 as tyre seem deflated with 30 pressure?

Get your complete suspension system checked and verified by an able mechanic. preferably change all suspension parts which are worn including steering wheel end and all bushings front and back.

get the car aligned from a good place.

hope this will resolve the issue. good thing is all parts of cultus are easily available however u need to keep a check and keep replacing them as and when required since they are not super long life.

I used Caltex Formula 10w30 in Islamabad winters. Faced no problems.

I wanted advice, actually. The thing is my car's engine is like 150 thousand miles used, and the gasket is giving problems. The mechanic says I should change the engine... so should I change the engine or the gasket? The gasket is making the engine overheat

Get the gasket changed ASAP
if the gasket blows your engine will 100% be destroyed
If your engine has already heated up in past then chances are it has become weak. Investigation needed to confirm

Do not come in gossips of Mechanics to change the engine. Do it only if you are 101% sure with practical readings in hands.

1st get it properly investigated with solid inspection; Complete Engine performance analysis accompanied by dry and wet compression test with smoke test then you will be able to decide whether go for only Gasket replacement or head works or complete engine overhaul or engine swap option.

This is not 10 Rupees job to "change engine" at just 150K. Also understand science behind Engine.

Share car pictures too specially of engine bay plus is it emitting continuous white smoke?

I am now hearing sounds from CV joints for past few days and to confirm it, I got it checked by mechanic and its confirmed left one is giving noise at turns.. He told there are either chinse (Acer) available for 7k pair or Japanese (NKN) for 16k

Anyone here with a better choice of brand? Also heard it can be repaired also... what is best option... change both or get left one repaired?

you will get a pair only and not one. my experience with chinese axles in cultus liana baleno is very good and you get 6 month replacement guarantee incase of sound or fault. keep the other as spare as it can be used at either of the two sides. but first make sure your axle rods are genuine Cultus and not altered otherwise these outer axles will not fit in. best is always to first take out the axle rod and buy axles after matching the teeths..

.13mm for intake side on dead cold engine.
.23mm for exhaust side one dead cold engine.

Dead cold engine means car sitting for at least 8 hours without any starting of engine during that 8 hours time.

Looking for a reliable suspension repair shop in Karachi for cultus efi, Mechanic inspected it, Axles boot needs replacement, Axels are fine, the whole steering rack needs an overhaul, Control Arm needs bushings, and overall complete suspension repair is required so looking for a reliable shop.

I believe its rods are genuine as I bought it from 2nd owner 10 years ago and it is still with me since then and only this time CV joint is giving sound due to I wasn't able to check on time that its boot was torn...
I will check with the mechanic and then buy Acer chinese brand if NKN is very costly...

Can rear seat belts be installed in cultus 2010? if yes then how and from where I can get them in Multan,
