Pls stop going to the mechanic you are going to .. for the better nd long life of ur car... Switch to 10w40 pls

Ever changed gear oil? If not then do asap and then change every 40k km

Install A/C thermostat immediately otherwise your compressor will work continuously and die soon.

Not changed gear oil yet. Can you please suggest any 10w40 engine and gear oil ? Please answer it as if budget is not an issue and in budget options. Thanks

One more thing related to mileage, Is 11-12 is justified mileage if not what should be good for it ?

Last but not least how to improve this Cultus AC is it really meet need i don't think so in hot weather it really works. Any suggestion to improve it as well.. Regards

Do engine flush an then you can use Zic X700010w40 Fully Synthetic and for gear/transmission oil, you can use ZIC Gear FF 75W/85 (API GL-4).

Also if you need coolant then also buy Zic coolant and use it after radiator flush and service.

ZIC X7000 10W-40/CI-4 (5000) is for your 2008 model (Carburetor version) which suited your engine's zddp requirement.

You can compare yourself the Chemical & physical specifications of both X7000 & X7 both are of same viscosity 10w40 but later API rating is different which are SL and SP respectively.

SL is close to your engine's requirement. Use only Pak Suzuki manufactured Oil filters & Air filters(if you can buy from Suzuki 3S Dealers) or Guard Oil filters & Air filters from some authentic shop (preferably from Metro stores)

BTW in which city are you located? You can find official Zic Lube/ service stations near your location. Yo can go directly there otherwise you can order original Zic product from Zic official website.

A/C performance during day time in ambient temp. of 42 to 45 Degree Celcius is of course not the one which you can expect at 20-25 Degree or during night time but it is not " too bad too". Does your Cultus have original compressor or changed one? Please post your car pictures so that others can guide you accordingly.

I am from Wah as far as i know the ac configuration is of company default.
2008 is EFI while checking this ZIC X7000 10W-40/CI-4 (5000) come up for deseal engine that's why i want to confirm it ZIC X7000 10W-40/CI-4 (5000). I will share some pics of it soon. Thank you.

Yes @sleeper and @officialmusman you people are right, i also had 2008 but it was 2007-2008 which was delivered and registered in 2008 but originally it was 2K7 manufactured.

Zic X7000 is for Both petrol as well as Diesel so no worries for that part.

But yes if your 2008 is EFi one then go for Zic X7, that's why i wrote Carburetor version in bracket so that you can confirm because i also had doubt whether your 2K8 was/is EFi or Carby. )

If you are in Wah and cannot go nearest Zic station, no worries, go and order it online and change it from any good service station near you.

Thanks mate. Sometime before someone told me that if car is being used on 20W50 its better to use the same as 10w40 would might cause leakage in oil engine (which is around 90K or < 100K). I personally don't believe him but for keeping mileage which is lesser for me, i think its time to move and add proper tweaks to test it.

Mine is carby cultus 200k Odo, running on 10-40 from day 1. Never used fully synthetic though. Might try it on next oil change. Only zic gives it in fully synthetic

Meri Suzuki Cultus Model 2010 main kabhi kabhi start krte wqt Self slip hone jesa sound aata hai yeh kabhi kabhi hota hai But us wqt b Car start ho jati hai almost normal Self pr hi hai not too long. Us sound jese Self slip howa ho ki Kiya reason ho skti hai

No worries, you can switch it to any time for 10w40 as it will ease your old Oil pump too which is now in his old age to pump too heavy oil to all components.

I have experience of both Cultus; Carby as well as EFi version

Use Fully synthetic with original or at least good quality original Oil and air filters

Aap kee strater motor ka issue Lag raha hay. Agar to ttotney kee awaz ati hay to Starter kee motor khaba ho rahi hay.
Jab tak chal rahi hay, chala saktey hain lekin ye ab kisi bhee waqt starter motor beth jaye gee.

Solenoid weak ho to bhee esi awaz ana start ho jati hay.

Ap apni starter ke motor & Solenoid dono check karwa Lijye.

Agar ap Karachi mey hain to 13-D mey Malik sey check karwa lije

Thanks. Can you tell what is the root cause if this issue ?
I am a new driver actually i guess car hit ground that's why not sure about it. When i drive it for 1 hour few drop of oil gets leaked and its fine while parked..

Apparently from pictures, it seems, Engine seal issue. Not so much costly.

You have to fix engine Engine main packing / seal issue. In my opinion, check oil spots at other places too. If you find oil at multiple spots, then buy Engine seals set pack which contains multiple seals, o-rings, packings specially for this area, mechanic will clean it and may also paste silicon or some other adhesive item here

If you have Efi then there is also chronic and hereditary issue of oil seepage/Leakage from near Distributor means Distributor Seals is very fragile in Cultus this model too. Check it too.

I have noticed and seems like its being leaking from one spot and on left side. I have checked it multiple time and if i drive it for hour then it leaks else in short trip no issue..

Hey i had a question. I was wondering about the oil grades for my cultus. Unfortunately i do not have an owners manual with my cultus 2006 (carburated). We bought ours around 11 years ago from suzuki's certified cars. The odo was around 88k ( according to my dad, i was only 6 at the time). I've only recently started to become interested with my cars. We've been using 20w50 in our car for as long as I remember, and my uncle also has a cultus (2000) he also using the same grade as does my cousin (cultus 2006). So i was wondering if we should make the switch to 10w40? and if so, what company would be better?

I have a similar issue but the oil leakage is worse. What could this be?

Here are some images from the engine bay. Icheck the engine oil from time to time but there is no sign of decrease in oil level. Not only that, the oil dropping is black whereas the engine oil is goldenish whenever i check.
