i had a Carby Cultus it barely managed 11km/h in Karachi
EFI shuld be around the same i believe

seeing tht its a 1L car its Fuel Economy is very poor

Sir its 10km/l in a company maintained petrol only Cultus with A/C and heavy traffic jams in evening.

The engine response and acceleration are much better then the old carby one and best of all that whinning noise is not there.

Some people have faced issues on CNG though.

BTW, It also gets a Pioneer MP3 player compare to crappy cassette player in carby Cultus and footmats are nice.

Last week, i went to Rawalpindi from Lahore via GT Road on my Cultus02. I got the tank full at lahore and at reaching Rawalpindi half tank was consumed. Now you can calculate.

On highway the best i could get was 20km/l...with rpm under 3000 which means travelling at 100km/hr...that too from lahore to behra only..!!!..that was once cuz its a mental torture travelling at 100km/hr...at 120 it usually give around 15-16km/l

in city...the best was 14km/l with rpm not going further than 3500..

both of the mileages are with A.C

You did not mention how many ltrs you got filled in the tank. was the tank all empty and how much fuel is consumed till the middle mark.

Being a 1000cc it should be around 12km/litre with AC in city.
On long routes it should be able to give around 16~17km/litre.

my 1.6 diesel gets 20 to 24 in the city.

why would a 1000 cc EFI give less than 14K/Lit in city?.

Mileage depends alot on how heavy your foot is. And that makes a lot of difference. Since it is a small engine, it needs higher rpm to get to a higher speed quickly, meaning a heavier foot while driving. Keeping the rpm below 2500 which is difficult when navigating through stop and go city driving. My cultus gives 14km/l without ac and around 12 with the ac. Hope that helps
