I have a 2005 [Cultus](https://www.pakwheels.com/used-cars/suzuki-cultus/660) that I drive 20 km in Lahore daily with the AC running constantly... It is doing anywhere from 9.5 to 10.5 at the moment... When tuned properly, it gives a max of 12km/l on AC in the city... Without AC it does 14km/l.

Salam i recently change my Suzuki Cultus 2002 engine replace with used engine 3 cilynder XFI engine car working is great dealers sad engine working very good but petrol average in City 10 km please suggest me how to check average and how to improve it mechanic said feul average like this engine 20 to 22 km in City

lol at mechanic's statement
they do so to make you swap. Which model engine did he swap with, efi cultus have 4 cylinder engine. this 3 cylinder efi could be g10a from japanese cultus but still it wont give mileage of 20-22 in city and probably not on highway as well.
Make sure its properly tuned, spark plugs and wires are fine.
Sometimes its not the fuel delivery system but the engine itself which has lost its full compression which results in poor average. If possible get its compression checked (Rs 200 job). they might have sold you bad engine

Mine efi is giving 13-14 in city without AC after complete engine rebuild.

I have 2009 cultus . We bought it brand new. Well kept. Gives following mileage.

If the fuel is good.
20-22 km / liter on long route without AC.
12-12 km/ liter in the city without AC.

If the fuel is low in quality
16 km/ liter on long routes
And very low on local routes.

Fuel quality is the magic in getting goof mileage

Get your car tuned , get a good quality air filter (leppon) get fuel from company operated pump and then check the differences

I have Cultus 2005, it was giving me 7km/ltr with AC in the city. I went for tuning mechanic changed Fuel Filter, Spark Plugs and Gene (it was sort of rubber packing in the upper part of engine), adjusted RPM to 1000. Recently i had a oil change too i-e ZIC X7 FE used oil and air filter of Leppon.
After all this i got 7.5 km/ltr. ODO is 110,000km.
In my opinion this is not a good/ desired improvements.
Can anyone help me in this regard that how can I improve the mileage.
Mechanic was also claiming that after tuninig you will get 10 to 12 km/ltr.
