A.o.A guys i had bough my first cultus in 2010 still got it and after 174k kms its beautiful then ever its my loyal work horse i mostly drive 60km every day so its a cheap,reliable machine Cultus is LOVE
Coming to point i have got a few problems that i would like to discuses with following Cultus owners
OIL:- i was using Zic X7 5w20 api sn (I know) after 150k km my cultus started giving smoke on Cold start it only smoke 30 to 50sec when the engine was cool and sat over nigh anything short of 6hrs no smoke what so every but if i didn't start it for 48hrs the smoke was thick and lasted for double the time but once again as temp raised smoke disappears.Valve Stem seals have deteriorated but as it does not reduce oil even after 5000km of oil change and oil coming out is good no water or milky shade.After this problem i switched to Zic x3 15w40 api sj but smoke on cold start is still there.Car feels heavy,acceleration has dropped and car is heavy on incline roads now as winter is upon us i am thinking of switching to some 5w30 oil if i can find any or 10w30
What do you guys say as i live in Abbottabad winter is very cold would u advise me to which oil brand in Pakistan has 5w30 and 10w30 available plus its price as it should be affordable
Any of you know any good mechanic that can replace its valve stem seals without opening its head Islamabad Rawalpindi or Peshawar works as well
Does cultus 2010 efi have a fuel filter?
My cars idle RPM is messed up it goes below 900 to 500 rpm when i apply breaks or if AC is on.I did not have this problem until my car did not change from petrol to cng My car is FF cng sometime it did sometimes it didn't in pursue of diagnosis i went to an idiotic cng mechanic he replace the Cng regulator with a jugar or manual adjuster and sprayed carb cleaner in throttle body directly and revved it (throttle body wasn't cleaned in ages at the time) the juggar worked for a day and again it didn't convert went to the mechanic took my old electronically operated regulator(power T) and got a 2nd hand one as soon as i attached it car converted no convert issue at all after that but idle problem began on cng as soon as i touch break car would switch off on petrol it did not switch off but rpm drops from 900 to 500 rpm constatly
Cleaned throttle body changed plugs changed plug wires but problem is not getting solved once i took it to an electrician he advance the firing by rotating the distributor a bit clockwise it solved the problem for 2 day but now it does the same with ac and while i brake rpm come down to 400 just before stalling
I know its long but would really appreciate you guys helping a fellow umeeti
