Suzuki cultus Oil recommendations

Asalam. O alaikum Pakwheelers
Hope u all doing well .
Want your suggestions regarding Oil grade for Suzuki Cultus 2000 model
I changed my cultu's engine in 2019 except gear box .
And from 2019 to 2021 i have changed oil almost 5 to 6 times ( havoline 20w 50) .
Can i shift to 10w 40 ?
Or stay in that same grade ( 20w 50) is this grade is not good for my engine later ? Like reducing oil, rings issues .i m much confused .
You suggestion will really helpful to me

If engine is performing well and isn't giving smoke.U can shift.btw u installed efi engine or carburetor?Also it's a good idea to change gear oil if haven't changed before.

W'salam. You can switch to lower grade for better engine perfromance bcs the higher grade is thick, so lower the grade, the better your engine runs. I've cultus 2006 and i've switched to 10w-40 as my engine don't reduce oil and after i get rid of desi mechanics. If this grade won't reduce. I'll switch to more lower grade. Oil grade is just work like colestrol in human body. If your engine isnt reducing oil, you must go for lower grade for better performance.

2000 model cultus is carby and i don't think so there is any difference for oil in efi or non efi engines. Both are engines with different fuel supply system.

Alhamdulliah engine is very good its carburetor engine
Not any smoke from exhaust ( silencer)

Today i went to purchase oil and talked with Oil trader he said ( firtly he asked me konsa model hai told everything k 2000 cultus hai engine 2019 ma change kia 5,6 bar oil change kia hai 20w 50 ka he said k bhaiyo wala mashwara hai k 20w 50 he dalwao .wrna wohi gari maslay nikale gi oil kam kregi ,rings wagera phir preshan ho jaye ga )

Need more satisfaction from you guys as still confused

You can see here. Ive an old empty bottle of 20w-50 which i wae using before, and i switch to 10w-50. My engine is still the same (15 years old) and alhamdulillah still perfect. I don't believer on local mechanics ive a channel on youtube to guide people as much as i can so they wont get misleaded. Go for lower grade and you'll feel the difference or learb about oil from internet. As per our mechanics and oil wala, they are not educated and they will misguide you.
