1.3GL avergae I am assuming! Even with an Avg of 13-15 its quite expensive to drive on petrol....why is CNG such a bad option in Lancer? Lancer is a great ride if only it would be as good on CNG....(this is from a guy who is not big on high speeds and a light foot driver)

bhaai if you got a good clean car and a good mechanic then routene maintenance is no issue, hmm if some tricky usttaad come in your way then he will definately will please to see on alternate day. i had this car for more then 5 years, in start 2009-10, i face a bit problems as parts were hardly/expensively available but now things are normal. now its upto you what you circumstance allow you to compromise on !

I would love to buy a Lancer but in my budget I either get a 05 1.3GLX Lancer or an 08 Liana...what would you do?

Yes mine is 1.3 GLX manual purely driven on petrol, CNG'ed Lancers are a lot of trouble as these engines are not compatible with it, and petrol average of CNG'ed Lancers is poor too, basically CNG ruins the car to sum it all, whereas Suzukis and Corollas are very good on it.
My car is well-maintained Alhamdulillah and so yields this average whereas abused ones hardly do 9 km/l.

Brother aap Lancer chalayen ge baqi cars bhool jayen ge. It has driving pleasure comparable to the cars twice or thrice its price.

15 with hypermilling you would get the same avg without hypermilling

Yeah I know about Cultus...but I have also heard that the EFI ones give better mileage as compared to carburetor ones....is that true or its also a myth? some of the better alternatives for Liana would be....???

Guys I am planning to buy car in 7.5 to 8 lacs. I have two options cultus or liana.

Personally when I reviewed liana I liked it but for some reason I go to cultus

1. Someone told me if car is stopped at any place no mechanic can resolve the issue you gave to get vehicle at 3S.

2. Engine has some chip you can not wash car easily and it's hard to drive in rain.

3. Maintenance as it's notfriendly to local mechanic so 3S Dealership will pull money from my pocket on all regular visits.

Is it better to buy on petrol or cng is also ok with liana

Resale is also issue but I think u can't loss more while being 2nd owner
