Suzuki Cultus VS Suzuki Alto

Hey guys,

I am planning to buy either one of the two cars but am confused as to which one should I go for. My budget is 550,000 PKR. I need suggestions and expert opinion as to which car should I go for.

I like Alto because it is comfortable and spacious and the drive is smooth plus I am getting a 2008/09/10 Alto within my budget.

I like the Cultus too as it has power steering and smooth drive as well. But Im getting an older version of Cultus in my range 2005/06/07. I am not sure if the older Cultus VXR has power steering option in it.

Should I go for Cultus older model or Alto newer model?

P.S. I own a Mehran VXR 2006 and it sucks big time. Every month I have to visit the mechanic with something of the other problem and it gives starting problem in winters.

Only cultus VXL & VXLi have power steering. For that budget it's better you stick with alto. You wont find a good efi cultus for that much.

Thanks buddy. How much should a good VXL and VXLi cost me irrespective of the model year. A rough estimate?

In what ways is the EFI better than the carburetor system? I heard even in EFI the car gives problems in starting in winters is that true?

All cutus models from end of 2007 are efi...

I have kept alto for 7 years and currently owns an efi cultus ...i will always say alto is a better choice...buy the new-est model you can...its very simple to maintain, comfortable but its fuel average sucks!

i have under 4 lakh budget. Got two options. Cultus 2006 in 4 lakh (some rust on body) Alto 2005 in 3.5 lakh (paint faded). What you think which is better option and why? Please Comment..... both car are smooth in drive and have working AC.

Go for any non rusted car as if you buy a rusted one, be prepared for major body works soon
