Suzuki Cultus Vxr Engine Swap to Vxri(EFI)

Iam planning to swap the engine of my cultus vxr.Ill swaping it with a brand new G10B.This engines comes in Cultus vxri.Please help me in the availability of this engine.

Plus I would also be changing the brakes and the suspension with the new ones coming in Cultus Vxri

All suggestions are required.

u can get a Brand new G10b only with Suzuki and thats probably going to cost more then a 100k, (as a brand new engine head G13bb Baleno was around 75k).

Other then that the G10b is orignaly Altos engine which Paksuzuki has introduced in the Cultus. so i doubt ul be finding it any where else.

It should be a bolt on fit.

So should I install G10B or I should move for some other engine.Heard about Suzuki G13B.

For the installing of G10b what other things would will I have to change

Will the G10B work perfectly in my car??

Will the company send the engine to me or I will have to send my car for the swapping.

Is G10B a nice engine??

depends you wanna keep your car stock or make a beast out of it.

As for me i guess Efi engines are a bit complicated for CNG driving in Pakistan. So if u want to swap it for a daily runner on CNG not a gud idea (that my point of view)

You want to swap it for modification purposes then go for some thing big like a g13/g15/g16 even honda engines.

Im not gud with swaps lets wait for others input

Instead of spending over 100k on a g10, you're better off getting it swapped with a g15. The swap (including better brakes and suspension) should cost you less than 100k. And if the swap is done right, it shouldnt trouble you even if you use it as a daily driver. A g15 would give you a much better power to weight ratio which would result in better performance and good fuel economy (provided you keep a light foot on the gas pedal)

Cultus can easily handle 1500 CCs but reliability do decrease as body and chasis is made for 1000CCs.

Margalla's engine is very Powerful with 1300CC (4 cylinder)&Susprisely having very low low mantinence i think go for it...

why do u want to swap it
i think there is very less racing scene or might be 0 in swabi and this engine is good for daily driving plus CNG consumption is good for this engine

the carburator is faulty and the rpms are not stable while the car is standing.It has been repaired many times but happens the same.I was in search of the g10 becz it is efi.

thats not a biggie man come to peshawar and get a nice carb from shoba or u can get new parts form saddar it will cost u nearly 2000rs as its a suzuki
and check from another mechanic my mehran made a sound previous mechanic told me to replace the carb
i checked it was due to distributor was dry
same case might be with ur ride

brakes ad susp is same ...so no big effect

as far as the engine are concern....

for yr car G15 is very good..if you want a new engine

adv over 1000cc efi engine

1...G15 1500cc is japan market engine so its better then baleno 1300 and 1600...its my practical experince

2...G15 on petrol give you almost 14km/L plus millage

3..its bolt on in yr car

4..use it on CNg no issues at all

5..parts same as baleno g16 and g13

this car came with 1000,1300 and 1600 AWd factory engines..so dont worry 1500cc is not going to harm you any way

cost more then this engine almost double the price ...parts cost the same price almost...
