Suzuki every catalytic converter sensor 2 problem.engine check light, fuel consumption very bad

2012 model images are attached for idea of model .
the thing is ....dear brothers experts and mechanics ...
computer shows , sensor 2 is not working p0420 code error.
for the solution.I went to the mechanics, computer checkers, brought sensor for replacement of sensor 2. wash the catalytic converter with water, soda ,air.
in short at the end mechanic suggests me to change the catalytic converter because 2, 3 time i replace the sensor but not works , so he said there is the problem in the converter so this is the last solution, to replace the converter or change silencer with sensor

Changing catalyic converter will not be a good option.The sensors which you're putting in your car are the new one or kabuli one?
Also check your car wiring aswell @choudharyartist

I think, there is problem with the oxygen sensor. First try to properly clean the genuine / OEM oxygen sensor, and try, whether it works or not? If not, then replace it with new / Kabli oxygen sensor.

I suppose, there isn't any need to replace Catalytic Converter, if it's absolutely fine and it's "Jaali" is intact. It's thorough cleaning (other than with acid) should work.

After performing above actions, reset either through scanner or desi method; by plugging off one of the cables from battery terminals (the cable which is thin and has less wires) for about 30-45 minutes.

Do not plug off both cables, or the cable which is quite thick (and has more wires).

Engine check light should go away after all this.

For fuel efficiency, check following main things:

1. Use API SN, 5w-30, Fully Synthetic Engine Oil from any reputed brand, and ensure oil is genuine. For best for bucks, use Total Quartz 9000 Future series, or latest compatible available.

2. Ensure Air Filter is clean. If dirty or completed its service life, replace it with genuine OEM recommended one and always keep it clean. It's lungs for engine.

3. Use genuine OEM Oil Filter, and replace engine oil and filter after every 5,000 Kms.

4. Check and clean Throttle Body and plugs. If required, replcae spark plugs.

5. Check Tire Pressure, and always keep the pressure as per OEM recommendations.

6. Do check wheel balancing and alignment, if not done recently. Do also rotate tires after every 10,000 Kms.

I hope by following above mentioned steps, fuel efficiency will become better IN SHA ALLAH.

brother basit ali i did allthe things that you mentioned in your comment , but nothing happens gud ...
and also attache washed catalytic converter pic , and also i replaced it with 3 different kabli oxygen sensor... but same issue .....
battery removes for hours ...still error
replace with new plug ...
using zic A+ engine oil....
oil change at about 3000 to 3500 km...
and thanks you suggest me eng Oil ..
i use guard oil filter .... i think same oil filter that used in mehran car, or bolan .
throttle body and plugs are cleaned .
i use nitrogen gas in tyres ..

dear brother,now i am using genuine sensor that comes with it.. i use almost 3 different kabli sensors from different places but they does not resolve my issue .

Bro I had my engine check light on my suzuki every on as well and went to the mechanic. He connected obd to it and after a while the check light went off. He drove it some distance and then stopped the car and said after connecting obd the check light went off. There's no problem he said and no sensor error came. He said sometimes the catalytic converter is blocked its cleaned now. What do you think?

Please scan your vehicle for any / all fault codes, and take remedial actions accordingly.

If Catalytic Converter & Oxygen sensors are reqd. to be replaced and Catalytic Converter is non-serviceable, then I fear, you will have to replace them.

Oxygen sensor is some a common JDM Suzuki part you can easily find it at Plaza check with Nippon Autos he will have it for sure. There are other Suzuki dealers as well but Nippon and a few more deal in JDM import parts. Ask them for the Car on too but as far as I know you won't find a catcon new, you will have to search shershah for a used catcon and have it chemically cleaned.
