Suzuki FX: Car pick up is not smooth but it accelerate with jerk

Dear Pak wheelers:

Car is SUzuki FX model 1984 running on Petrol. Recently I am facing issue related to acceleration that car does not pick up speed smoothly with soft pedal while driving and when I press the pedal little hard it accelerate with jerk. 
It looks like brake pads are jammed or some time it looks like tuning issue. Last time i change its front brake pads around 1.5 to 2 years back
Its hand break is not working need to be fixed because hand break wire broken or lose because the hand break is free.
Further in the cold start the idle is stable (not 100%) but at first gear car does no pick up speed as I accelerate but after 5 to 10 mint slow paddle it start working close to normal operation. Fan is direct and Japanese 660 radiator with motor is installed so speed of the motor is very good so it looks like engine is working on very cold start
My idea is to check front brake pads, wheel bearings all four tyre and fix hand brake at first stage and see if there is any change. Please advice from where I should start diagnostic this issue.

Install Thermo Valve Switch in it. Remove it from direct fan as soon as possible.

Thanks for your reply, i ask mechanic to install it but he is saying your engine is too old cant install it, it will burn gasket things like that

Aoa I own an alto mehran 1990 completely on petrol, recently i have also been facing the same problem when u accelerate hard the car gives a jerk then picks up speed, i havent been getting time to get the problem fixed but according to my understanding the carburetor needs servicing, (automatic fan thermostate valve present) i will advise you to take ur car to Rehman carburetor wala at tariq road and get it check.

Viki please explain what you mean by petrol setting, do you mean cleaning fuel filter? or fuel pump ?

i will try carburator cleaner as well to see if any improvement and will update you accordingly

I own a corolla 84, and it has a thermostat with auto fan. How FX cant have it.

Yes its F8B, so i will ask him to install at my own risk, i believe its important to take risk.

any chance it could be related to clutch & pressure plate?

Yesterday i clean carburator with Nasa cleaner it improve a bit and i am planning to do it again by empty one 300 ML bottle so that it will be clean and also clear the fuel filter and see if any change

Let me update you, yesterday again i used Nasa Carburator cleaning and that improve the situation by 50 % as of today, so i will check fuel filter position and clean it as soon as i got time.

Further expert please advice how to chang contact point ? i saw mechanic put the car in 4th gear and ask us to push the car things like that but their should be some proper way to install the point in the carburator?

If any expert can help me i would be highly appreciated.

I can remove plugs, adjust it, adjust air mixture of carburator timing but i never tried how to replace the point so please expert guide me
