Suzuki FX / Engine F8B / Carburator Setting

Dear Pakwheelers !

As mention in the title i would like to the carburator setting of Suzuki FX engine (F8B).

The problem;

• its idle speed is very high (not normal), i adjust it with few mechanic and after few weeks it again increase automatically. I did not tune is properly but i just adjust it with any mechnic shop on my way and in few seconds he slow the idel speed but it will only last few weeks.

• I dont know the exact screw which mechanic use to decrease the idle speed from carburator.

• they is one srew (-)at the back of carburator, i tried to rotate it anti clock wise through small (-) screw driver (Gutkaa as per mechnic language) but no impact

• One mechenic told me that butterfly of the carburator is not fine thats why its idle speed is high.

please help me how to adjust it or i should go for proper tuning?

Your carburetor requires cleaning. Give it a thorough cleaning and re-fit it. The dirt stuck inside is messing with the carb screw settings. I would suggest to take it apart completely and soak all the jets and carb body into a bowl of white vinegar for at least 15-30 minutes. It will blast through all the dirt without you doing any effort. After that, wash it with petrol before refitting.

I am also facing same problem, whilst my car is not converted in petrol only run on CNG. Mechanic told me that it has some butterfly problem but other mechanic says as it runs only on CNG then butterfly should not have any issue. The issue created right after when I got it tuned with a new mechanic shop.

3rd one told me that carburetor setting is out and it is taking more air than it usually needs. It only needs a re-tune.
