Suzuki FX - (Petrol) - Tank & Accessories

Dear Friends,

I own Suzuki FX and it's only run on petrol as no CNG is installed.

The problem that I am currently facing is the petrol smell in the cabin. I have researched the internet and found something relevant but not accurate to my problem which was from Indian maruti 800.

Therefore, I need the help from Suzuki FX owners and expert who run their vehicles on petrol.

check your pipes near tank.. I had the same issue with FX

I have got it checked the return pipe (breather hose) was lose which I have fixed but the other pipe which goes to vapor canister (as in pic) has no proper direction, my mechanic said to let it lose but the petrol smell still comes. Please check this pic which belongs to Indian mehran aka 800 and the pipe has some connection to bottle like thing which they call vapor canister and which is not present in Pakistani Suzuki FX and Mehran.

Boss, i thimk paki fx dont have such setup. you do following things:

change all rubber pipes to new, buy some best quality rubber pipes used for fuel and not the local ones.
take out the fuel tank and seal the fuel gauge with sealant so no fumes get out
there is a breather filter on fuel tank change it
change the plastic fuel filter beneath the car
check the pipe from where the fuel goes in and the area whether it is rusted or not

Moreover also check do u get the smell while driving the car with windows open or all the time whether open or closed.

Thanks nnabeel for your comment. Actually my mechanic is very good at work and honest to do my car's work. He checked everything from pipes to seals and everything is ok but the solution is not present as shown in the picture that is why he said to let it lose.

I was wondering if any of pakwheeler who run their FX only on petrol can take picture from their car as attached above so that I could have little bit of idea that what settings are actually used.

Secondly, there is no smell while driving.

Aoa I have mehran 2005.
same issue I drop 10-5 litres Petrol In winters only for starting in morning ignition and off in 5 days 5 litters gone didn't understand.. Mechanics says carborater (jets) everything is OK.. I noted petrol drying in tank.. There is no leak but not picking the point what the problem.. Any export here to advise

Aslam Alikum. Sir this is the same issue I am facing
With my Suzuki Fx. As I accelerate the paddle there is a minor smell in cabin don't know what to do.
